I started watching this because of HMH and LYX. Compared to novel the drama is really good although it little different but the storytelling is excellent. Btw I started with drama and it was so good that I was unable to wait or simply doesn't wanted to wait for next episodes to get released then watch it. So I search for it's novel and read it. And to my surprise it's different from drama and I'm bit disappointed while reading it.
In novel Ming Yi does not get poisoned and there was no mention of her fight with JBZ. She also did not approach him how MY(LYX) approach JBZ(HMH) they also did not get married or fall in law. Later when they gets separated JBZ realize that he loves her but she doesn't love him at all and later, umm she gets married to someone else. Btw he is not Situ Ling. Situ Ling is kinda Young in Novel. So they kinda have bro-Sis relationships
Although drama is very different from novel but after watching recent episode I'm kinda worried that novel will repeat here too.
To be honest I don't wanna get disappointed again 😕
Also novel is typical romance novel centered around female and targeted around female audiences. Different from drama which has balances this aspect
