I think main problem here is length. as I got from the comments, manga is very long and deep also. there was many unnecessary moments, instead of showing better character development.
Main couple story was shown quite well, but I can't say same about second one. their chemistry was crazy good, so I really don't care if they kissed or not, but I needed more. Joo Ha again wasn't just "bad" we just didn't get to see depth of his character.
