Thank you. I had already found those but wasn't sure if I was in the right place for the patreon as it didn't mention the series. I still can't figure what tier I'd need, but at least I know i'm in the right place now.
I should have seen it coming but I’m a bit mind blown it was Akk behind the “curse” 🤯 I would have thought…
I'm not sure it has only been him this time around. I think the reticence he showed this episode suggests he hasn't done this before and that it was someone else last time.
I don't know what direction they'll take this plot line in the end, but I think they put it in there so that people will think about and discuss all the real and valid ways that people can be a parent, so thank you for bringing it up.
For Jerry, it seems the biggest challenge is to continue to quietly stand up to his parents about what is important to him and makes him feel happy. Making his parents happy is one of those things, but his love for Kai is beyond a blood relationship, so he also needs to be clear to them about that so he can do his best for Kai and now Jimmy.
I agree that adoption is a wondeful way to bring a child into a family for many people, but it does not work for everyone. In a society where blood relationships are considered the most important, it must be even more challenging - can you imagine Jerry's parents accepting an adopted child?
He has a twin! when was that shown? i missed it. How do you know?
At the end of the ep, we see the face of the person "Mork" has been talking to at home. Maybe edit your post as spoiler though, for those who are checking the comments to see if they want to watch?
Really enjoying this series so far. I like that the main characters are all a little outside of "normal", and that they do their best to be true to themselves within the bounds of family and society expectations.
The emotional maturity that they have mostly shown so far is really unusual to see, and it will be interesting to watch how that stands up as they continue to develop their relationships.
Family relationships and interactions are a large part of this, but it is refreshing to see them shown true to life, without perfection, and hopefully we'll see some growth on the part of the adults with (in my opinion) outdated views.
Just clicked through and saw Pond played Danny in Bangkok Love Stories: Innocence. Can't believe the difference in roles, and he was/is so convincing in each. I'm impressed.
