That left state minister is about as evil as his character in ‘The Glory’ even though I’m just over halfway through both dramas. He’s one of the Worst in Dramaland.

As a single lady for over 3 decades, I don’t feel great that this is like one of the few historical dramas I’ve watched that include teen marriage and the only one that explicitly states the appropriate age to get married, whereas numerous past historical dramas include characters 25+ or even 30+ who were still not married, like in Rowoon’s other historical drama ‘The King’s Affection’. I guess this drama writer decided to be historically accurate in this aspect b/c age of marriage is significant in this drama.
Anyway, I had sex education around 10 in Hong Kong probably b/c girls still get menstruation in early teen years to prepare for pregnancy. I knew a classmate who got her period around 10! Yes we have longer lifespan now and mature later. Social and economic factors and concerns over career and money and love are causing people to marry later or not even obligated to marry, but our biology hasn’t really changed. Yeah we haven’t evolved much biologically. I learned in personal development that we still have amygdala from hunter-gatherer days! People back in the days were following biology not to mention people matured earlier due to shorter lifespan.

It doesn’t really matter if 2 FL cheated b/c ML never loved her. I keep getting bothered why he even dated her in the 1st place. He said this to FL before which bothered me, ‘I have a gf. I call her Nayeon. Others call her Goddess. Why should I like you when I have her?’ Supposedly the ML’s dad pressured him into dating her, but it seemed like he went with it due to status. Also that’s not why he told the shaman he stuck to her. Also I get 2FL cheated b/c she’s kinda dating a stone statue for 2 years, but cheating is like the only reason for breakup that she accepted after his numerous lackluster breakup attempts. I expect to see 2FL engaged to ML in past life as a proper explanation why he felt bound to her but she didn’t even show up despite mentioning who she thought she was in past life. 2 ML had no place in past life like that. Ikr! Rowoon’s dramas as ML were all great but this drama is stressful and probably the worst drama I’ve watched. I’ve watched 90 Kdramas and only dropped a couple. After 9 eps I had to take a pause for a couple weeks partially due to Asian games and spend time reading comments here to connect to viewers’ confused and frustrated feelings regarding this drama while also finding some comments that make me feel less frustrated. The relationship in ‘She may Never know’ has WAY better dialogue/conversation, moments and deep connection. I watched it before it went on Netflix and I took 50-100+ screenshots of almost all eps! The couple here just kept bickering trying to reverse the love spell until 2 ML dismissed it and sabotaged his relationship with FL by making ML think the love spell didn’t work so his feelings are real. Then he realized his past life connection with FL and mostly fell for her just for that reason. FL went from resisting to falling for ML instantly and acted all giggly right before and after his breakup with Nayeon. The ML & FL actor and actress don’t even believe in past lives so wth?

Ikr! I paused the drama right before Ep 10 but later took a sneak peek about 10 mins into Ep 10 he tried to break up with his gf again. He actually told the shaman feeling crazy about someone doesn’t necessarily mean falling in love and it’s just feeling crazy. The shaman just told him love is supposed to be foolish and staying loyal alone is foolish which aren’t wise words. A psychotherapist specializes in emotional issues but then again that shaman is the only one who knows about their past life connection, but that seems to be the sole reason for them to fall in love even though their bond and connection in their present life is lacking. I totally expect gf to be ML’s fiance in past life. She had wondered about her past life but her past life appearance hasn’t been mentioned in spoilers. 2 FL should have in the past life instead of 2 ML!
