I don't know if the show is based on an existing webtoon. But the webtoon mentioned in the article is about extending the story of season 1.

I think Lady Maeda is a calculated person. She doesn't have good intension for anyone but she wants to leave her option open. Does she care about Akiko's life? No. But she doesn't need to kill her. She could keep her alive to leverage at some point. For one thing, her husband likes/loves Akiko. She could use her to manipulate her husband in certain situations. Also, I don't think she kept Akiko alive because she carries her husband's baby. It's for leverage. She made it clear to her husband that she was okay he has an affair but she also said that everything changes once Akiko carries his baby. Again, she might just be keeping her option open. Obviously she would have no issue killing the baby or Akiko later on.
As for not having the hospital keeping her separately, I think she gave them a general instruction/order but she doesn't know the details of what's going and being experiments in the hospital. She only found out more after her in person visits.

True. There was some flashback scenes but it's not clear to me what actually happened between them in the past.

So there could be at least THREE infected going into season - the ML, the FL and the baby.
if that theory holds, then I would imagine they would somehow make our ML/FL (or at least one of them) to be able to keep their mind and without killing people. They most likely have some super power but not nearly as great as they would. On the other hand, the mad doctor would be "modifying" the baby and the baby will be the big bad in season 2.
Also, there could be the 4th monster - Maeda Yukiko. At the end of ep. 10, she was in the wheelchair and there was a tea cup on the floor with water. Did she decide to drink?

Obviously the cliffhanger at the end of ep. 10 should lead to a season 2. (but you never know what happens at Netflix, right?)
I have been searching on the internet for confirmation about season 2 with no luck. kisskh does have a separate listing for the season 2 and pretty much all season 1 cast are in it. With the popularity on Netflix globally, I hope it wouldn't take long to confirm season 2.

She is definitely a stunning beauty. kisskh shows her (Claudia Kim) as 38 yrs. old. I would have guessed she is in her early 30s.
She had done some good dramas in the past but in this drama, she owns this character. In the first 7 episodes, they kept her in the background a bit. But in the last 3 episodes, she has more screen time and she had a few screen stealing scenes

It doesnt matter whether it is strong girl or strong woman, this could become a new kdrama genre. The possibility is unlimited - romcom, crime, time travel or even period. Why not having a story on their ancestors? Just like any kdrama, success is not about wherher the concept is origInal or unique. A good story, good script, and good acting, plus many other factors often determine how successful a drama is.

If and when they make Voice 5, I hope she will reprise her role.

From the way season 2 ends, it doesn't feel like there will be a 3rd season. It was a pretty nice wrap up and I think this is the way it should be.

Fact? I mean, including scenes where the mask girl dance and sing on her channel? Since the person wears mask, it would have been anyone. I jist wamt to see whoever that is gets the deserved credits.

i think the writer did it on purpose. as audience, we could see that could have changed some, if not all, of the outcome, but this just added to the entangled sadness of their fates in this story

Thanks for putting these together. I feel mor or less the same wsu after the first couple episodes. And after week 3, which is the hpaf mark of the 12 episode season, I dont think they would change for the better in the 2nd half. if this is considered to be acceptable, then they should continue to make season 3, 4 and so on.

Agree. Sometimes that's what we are lookimg for in the drama world.

This is the only series I really want to see to the end. I don't mind keep on waiting as long as it's going to happen at some point. That ending in Season 4 .....
