I can’t really remember much but if IIRC about LXY’s parent but Linger is actually a princess and her was the queen and her dad is the king, IIRC there was something going on with the kingdom and they had to sacrifice her mom to “appease” the god and her mom was worried it would happen to her and sent her away, her mom is also a descendant of Nuwa and she is too which is why she’s half snake and I remember her mom being set up by someone which is why they thought she was evil and wanted to sacrifice her

if I remember correctly the cousin ends up marrying someone else (begrudgingly) and then realized he did love her even though she was a demon or am I remembering wrong

I will never get over her saying soemthing along the lines “I guess I’m already old” when they made their pacts to grow old together 😭😭

in the original adaption he does fall for both of them and loses his memories then becomes conflicted and then 2FL ends up sacrificing for them but in the game LXY and 2FL do end up together

in the original adaption and game he does find out I can’t remember when it but it was near the end of the original drama

there was a scene when ZJC was trying to go and save his father from the fire they kind of just stood there and I was like ??? while BXS attempted to hold him back and got hurt and since PY knew martial arts he could have held him back easily or knocked him out and when they knew ZLJ was depressed they were just focus on the case until one of ZLJ subordinate begged YCW to go check in on him and even then it was PY who had a “talked” with him and it was kind of condescending tbh he could have said the same thing but in a nicer way as it set ZLJ to do horrible things to achieve his means (not saying that he’s not his own person and his actions are his own but in that state of mind and with what was being said to him definitely didn’t help).

I feel YCW definitely felt bad for the young ice seller daughter but it was because she saw so much of herself in her TBH like I get she’s meant to be selfless and show kindness (even not killing the bully) but I felt like after she recognized PY her friends kind of came after him and wasn’t as much of a priority

and she does hold grudges she said she would never forgive ZLJ’s dad but she won’t extend this to ZJL and will always see him as a friend and family so it shows she’s sensible in who she hates and support and love

I didn’t say it was obsession? I just said his stance felt a little wishy washy sometimes like he didn’t have a firm stance on his opinion

yeah I felt like you can tell they love each other but PY felt a little wishy washy to me at some point like he’s all “you’ll marry me no matter what I’ll follow you till you fall for me again” to “I’ll let her go if that means her happiness doesn’t include me I’m okay with that” to “I’m never going to let her go I’m going to keep her by my side at all cost”

I haven’t watched yet but I feel like because they slept together they’ll pull a “she’s pregnant!” with his child troupe

that’s how I kind of felt throughout the series they were fine with what happened to other people except each other especially during the rain terrace arc like yeah ajiang should be fine but you guys should really go check them out cause if you know them like you really say you do YCW you should know ZCJ is hell bent on revenge and let alone letting your best friend who knows absolutely no martial arts tag along who’ll just be a hinderance

i agreee I hate the troupe of SML pining after FL only to settle for the SFL/rebound for the SFL but when done right it can be nice like in fairy and sword 4 (another JJY drama) and the SFL and SML didn’t end up together.

with ZLJ and BXS I feel like their feelings were pretty gradually with her falling first and kind of just being there for him and then him slowly a starting to like her as he understands her more and realizes he doesn’t have a chance with YCW but I wished they (BXS and ZLJ) had just met first and had their own adventures as they have qualities that compliment each other the way the MLS do

I stopped watching until all episode gets released but does ALan have a deceased husband storyline here like the donghua/manhua? and is NTEX love interest still someone from the demon clan?
