I think I get it, since his father was extraordinarily and his mom was the priest he must have inherited divine powers and is the prediction on defeating the black dragon. I’m just laughing that no one thought they look alike in episode 1/2

just starting this drama is a gou and wu geng brothers? or is it like a split spirit?

I love the novel and has watched every adaption and felt like this one did drag a little but but the bonding between the brothers here was a nice built up especially the reveal but I agree with the other commenter I wouldn’t rewatch again and I wished they gave CZY a better hair style

hopefully it’s resolved soon or it’s going to end up like AJTL where it’s not resolved until the last two episodes

the lace glue isn’t good but I’m so obsessed with LXY hair style and how flowy it is with the streaks of white in it

also maybe because the last drama I saw him in he was bald and I forgot how good he looks with long hair LOL

I’m glad that when they both fell down they both blocked each other lips instinctively instead of doing the cliche tripping and falling on top of each other kiss

and his best friend did you catch the part with YZH in the flashback when QQZ was saying he has a powerful friend that can help expose to the truth to the world and got mad when YZH insulted LB and shoved YZH down

same especially since he did so much behind the scenes especially for the slave soilders and veterans

just finished it and the ratings are finally going back up. this is one of those dramas that I wished had the full 40 episodes limit just so they could have fleshed out more details and gave us a slight epilogue to show us a little more of the future of the CJR and how far everyone has come and developed their skills and maybe one last case to solve

I know some of them are able to cry on spot I can’t remember who it was though 😭😭

I haven’t watched it yet but I saw an edit he basically went to find LB because on the way back he to his hometown LB was assinated and he saw HYZ and he asked him where LB was and HYZ went “right here” and the camera pans to a small white cat and QQZ goes “LB?” but I didn’t see much else of the flashback
