I have to say that I do think you seem like a super decent person and I´m happy to know that you had some reservations about things and thought it through (even though we reached different conclusion).
However, I don´t think people not commenting that they don´t like it = they are OK with it. It could be that they don´t want to engage since it will lead to arguing. Or that they just abandoned the comment section right away when they realised it wasn´t for them. Or their attempts to talk about other things got drowned out.
But honestly, as long as this kind of thing doesn´t pop up in a lot of other ceomment sections as well I think its a one time event and for those of you involved its a super fun anecdote.
I´ll just abandon this comment section since it is completely pointless to me. (I´m not really curious about anyones age or sexual preferences (BL games are not for me apparently) and the comments, especially deep ones about the drama is pretty sparse). I´m don´t think I´d fit into your friend group unfortunately so even if I´m welcome I don´t want to join. But just to be clear, I really do think you have a great approach to people and your comments are nice.
In the end its just one internet forum and if I chill out a bit its no big deal in the grand scheme of things. I just felt like it got a bit like an echo chamber in here and had to put another opinion out there.

I do think it is selfish that a group of 10 -20 or so (?) people to flood the comment section with jokes, games, discussions of personal details unrelated to the drama. It absolutely drowns out the other comments in this comment section who do not participate in the "group chat".
This kind of enjoyment is OK absolutely, but I don´t think this is the right place for it. I mean, since it is a "group chat" why not just move it to a group chat app or forum instead of a public comment section?
I don´t think being welcomed is what matters. I want to be heard if I make a comment. And right now, if I make a comment about the drama, it will be pushed down immidiately by the "group chat" activity. Also, I don´t need to feel or be welcomed, I´m mostly here to read people´s thoughts about the drama. And the discussion right now is not a the about the drama.
Its kind of funny that I keep being told some version of "if you wanna comment no one is stopping you". since thats the problem. No one is stopping anyone from commenting. So if one person want to sent 100 comments in one hour that is possible. Despite how incredibly boring and against the point of this comment section that would be.

Mimi has been nice in response to my comment, I agree. But she did say "If I see any bitch coming in here and complaining about the spamming like they do on other sites I'll fight " so since I dont know her I did feel like I´d get mobbed if I commented. Luckily I was wrong.
I also don´t think the spamming or any one account is making me feel unwelcome, but that´s not my point. I did just write the comment to complain since it wont change anyones behavior.

I´m not upset about not being able to comment. I just feel like I come here (and I think a lot of other people do as well) to talk about the show specifically and to share thought about the show and the episodes in more depth.
It would be way too time consuming for me to even try to find someone commenting about the show not part of your group. I mean, I know they are there and make comments but with the amount of spam you guys produce how am I suppost to find them?
The games and discussions you guys share seems like a fun group activity but it completely drowns out the comment other people make about the show. The BL games and spam seems unsuited for this comment section.

This is meant to be an public comment section meant for all viewers of the drama to enjoy. 10.000 people currently viewing, some of who have waited for years to see this drama. I´ve been excited and looking forward to this drama for 2 years or so, and love watching it right now since it is soo good. Usually I go to MDL to share my happiness, thoughts and feelings but I can´t right now because of your spam.
And honestly it makes me very sad. Top 3 best show of the year and I can´t share it with anyone. I know I can´t stop you and this comment is pointless since it is clear you won´t stop. But let me be the as you said "bitch" and complain. I know I´m not alone, but that a lot of people have given up and a lot of people are too afraid to comment because they don´t want to become mobbed.
