Not since Bilkin have I been blown away by another Thai actor / singers voice. I love NuNew’s voice so much.
The series? It was ok. Seen better, seen much worse.
I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I felt like they put in too many kissing scenes. It didn’t feel natural enough and more of a case of more kisses for the fans. Other shows have probably had as much kissing, for example WhyRU and Love by chance, but they felt more inline with the story.
I really enjoyed this. Middle got a little slow but was a nice binge watch. Didn’t know Ji Chang Wook could sing. One of my favourite male actors. Actually the first kdrama I watched was Healer.
Only 2 little things bugged me. Surely with todays technology or makeup / hair they didn’t need a different actor to play the Teen version of Ri Eul. It’s put me off because obviously I’ve seen the other actor in stuff.
And it would have been nice to see how Na ll Deungs story ended.
Absolutely loved the closing live stage song. Make sure to watch past the credits.
To see there is only one episode is like a WTF. How is everything with all couples supposed to be finalised in any shape or form. After reading CityofAngels (so grateful for this) detailed book descriptions last night I would have expected quite a few more episodes. Yes I understand series are only adaptions of books and don’t have to follow exactly but so much important stuff is missing.
And I just have to say. What is with that random passionate kiss at the club in front of friends? They weren’t even drunk as an excuse. That was purely for fans and not in any reality of their short weird friendship / relationship.
I feel for the actors because I love them all. And I’ve loved all the singing by NuNew.
I still enjoyed this series, but I am very frustrating with the ending like many others. Reasons in spoiler.
I didn’t like the way the ML never accepted his disability once. Even if he was to be healed by the end the moral of the story should not be he’d rather be dead than in a wheel chair.
He didn’t call her the whole year he was away. I wouldn’t accept that from any partner. No excuse.
Not to see his face at the end. Obviously they didn’t have the actor as he had some freckles / moles on the back of his neck early on.
What happened to the bad guys, ML’s brother, the Team leader whose husband was cheating on her?
How everyone knew each other? How did FL dad die? Assuming he had. How did Team leader come to know ML and want to help him as she couldn’t her brother. The bully friend from school.
I didn’t mind this series. The main problem was it was too short. Not enough time to develop all the characters. I have watched much worse so I wouldn’t rate it as low as others have.
That last kiss though. Looked like Green was trying to swallow Chaps face off. Shame it was overdone.
Still like both actors. Hopefully they get more developed series in future.
That house AGAIN. Come on GMMTV I think it’s time you rented a different house. I’ve seriously lost count of how many times we’ve all seen that staircase.
That's something important that we forgot sometimes: the mood. My watch list is full of shows that I'm putting…
I’m the same. I hate ones where I will cry, but I know they will be amazing. I left it’s ok not to be ok for ages because I didn’t want to cry and I loved it (yes cried a lot too) I’ve left move to heaven for this reason too.
Same with Crime / suspense, I need to be in the mood to concentrate. I can’t get into bad crazy yet as much as I want to watch Lee Dong Wook.
So I dropped this series twice on episode one. I so desperately wanted to watch it because I love Ji Chang Wook.
Then I gave it one more chance. The things that annoyed me the other times I finally found funny once I was in the mood for silly funny.
I still struggled for a few episodes but then I saw they calmed down the silliness and effects and I liked it more. Some people have complained this is when it got boring. But I disagree, I was more interested in the characters by then.
Sure it’s not a masterpiece but was watchable In the end.

This was a nice binge watch.
Also this comment section is so different to all other series lol.

So so many unanswered questions.

I usually do one hard watch then an easy watch.
