Just reminiscing about the many good things that came out of A Dream Like a Dream. I looked forward to the flower wall arrangements from the sponsors on every stop. I looked forward to the many reviews of his acting from the people who were fortunate enough to see it Also looked forward to Xiao Zhan's food or sights blog from each city. I will never forget the massive sea of flowers, some even came from other countries at the first stop. I was so touched by the xfx that came and cleaned up that night.
I'm still watching this drama for the 2nd time (tv and dvd version mixed) and I'm already in ep16, but the heart-fluttering…
Love Love Love the Little theatre ! When I heard they are improvised scenes between Xiao Zhan and Yang Zi, they got even better to me. I especially like when Xiao Zhan laughs and it is how he laughs in real life. :)

Hosting is such a specific skill, not everyone can be good at it. I think XZ would be a great host too. He's very good at interviews, plus he's smart and quick, and he can improvise. Yup, there's many genres we haven't seen him in such as a republican, detective/crime, sci-fi, etc. So many possibilities. I'm so looking forward to what he'll do next.
I feel the same way :) I especially love listening to him sing acapella.
Just some XZ acapella vocals that I listen to over and over. Some are his performances where the background music is removed so you just hear his vocals. He's so good. His voice is just so pleasant.
Just thinking about how Xiao Zhan is already so popular and has accomplished so much after only a few years, and he still has several 'aces up his sleeve' such as perform Guang Dian live, release a full album or just some songs, have a concert. I'm sure there are others I haven't thought of.
I'm having OOL withdrawals y'all! So happy to see people watch Xiao Zhan for the first time and appreciate him as an actor. I learned from Oath of Love that in addition to his other talents, he is also great at improvising scenes. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised :)
Just finished Ep 28 (tv ver) and Ep 25 (regular version)
Whew, got past the difficult parts and hopefully it's just smooth sailing for GW, LXZ and us the audience lol. I really like it when GW said to LXZ '.. two people have to support each other so they can move on..' That means that he learned from this experience to tell her if something happens because he can trust her to share whatever happens in life. I hope LXZ also learned to be more patient and dig deeper when he's acting out of character. Hope they'll show her saying something in future episodes otherwise it just seems like everything is his fault. But I guess I won't expect it because generally in romcom stories, the female side is usually right lol.
I've thought about it and I think I would have had a similar reaction as LXZ did when I was her age if I knew what she knew at that time, especially having been only with the bf for that short of a time. Sorry but embarrassing me in front of my family is almost a deal breaker to me. It would take a very big effort for me to forgive that. Hmm, but I don't think I would have yelled at him as much because I would be afraid to say something so horrible that I can't take it back. But in the story, he needed a wake up call so he can go back to the hospital and be there in time to operate on the boy. So I think LXZ seems to know what to say when it comes to GW. It was also her who said the right thing so GW would do surgery again. Other people in his life must have been trying to tell him it wasn't his fault but only LXZ got through.
I really love GW/LXZ couple and have very high hopes for them. This tough experience taught them a lot and just made their bond stronger. But I can't say the same about the other couples lol. I can't care about the dysfunctional SS/GX. I understand San San's role in this story as the friend but I personally think the sassiness portrayal could have been dialed down because it came off as rude many times and imho it's not necessary to the story. With SY/YQ, my first thought during their fight was dude, if you hated it then why go along with it and then be angry and then blow up at the wrong moment. To me if you agree to do something then you agree. Don't throw it back in my face later lol. Don't know if you guys agree, someone once told me that having too much PDA is a bad sign and probably masking something lol.
Oh, what do you guys think if Dr Gao and Dr Yan interaction in Ep 28. Dr Gao was impressed by Dr Yan's defense of doctors, right. Then is the plot twist Dr Yan's English name is 'Chris' lol.
