Beautiful story, acting. Like others, I cried through the last 5 episodes. I also enjoyed the fusion of Chinese art, philosophy, poetry in the drama. As the drama ended, I thought Tan Songyun's singing in the background as Xu Lanxiang went to "sleep" was especially poignant and effective. As many others noted, once she recognizes that ML is the person who buried her Shen family, she will be able to express her affection for him more.
As for the ML, Lanxiang probably already loves him especially after he helped Ji'er, safeguards his family and, of course, her. I think is the biggest reason why she wants to rescue him and burns ZXT's incriminating papers.
On another note, I think I remember that early in the drama when Xiaolan introduced herself as someone who loves food, it was Nanke who laughed and commented that she's an airhead. I remember thinking then that he would probably end up liking her. By episode 37, we finally see it.
