I think the writers didn't want that to be the main focus. I can appreciate that. But having a family in the medical field and knowing how it really works I felt those scenes weren't very strong or rooted in reality. The writers may not have had enough knowledge and background which might be way it happened that way. I think there will end up being something bigger that they'll focus on.

I feel like some of these are still relevant. I did watch my first kdrama in 2011 and it was BOF, it was my love for Hana Yori dango that lead me to it. But it wasn't really until a year ago that I jumped in and really became addicted to Kdrama. I think You're Beautiful fueled it. Park Shin Hye had great chemistry with the whole cast and I got my first full on crush with Jang Geun Suk. I literally went crazy and had to watch everything he was in. I've been wanting to writer a beginners guide for MDL, maybe now I must because You're Beautiful and BOF would be on it! If there isn't one already. I feel like the 2000-2012 dramas have been some of the best ones so far.
I feel like there is a reason it's call Hallyu wave. I just wanted to add, I really think "my love from another star" brought more into fans to Hallyu in another crash of a wave. When I talk to those younger than me, that seems to be their drama that started it for them.

I agree! I feel like the romance and chemistry between Kim Ji Won and Jin Goo has me pretty invested. I said this other places, but they could have done a drama all there own. I think their story is very strong and interesting, and both characters/actors are very strong. I feel like they could steal the show.

As far as DoTS, I actually think Jin Goo and Kim Ji-Won, who play supporting characters, their romance could be a drama on it's own and a good one at that. I've been more invested in those to than the mains. I think that's because Jin Goo character seems so much more interesting to me. And he is such a strong actor in this one. I didn't realize until now, that Jin Goo played Ma Dong-Wook in Falling for Innocence until now. And I thought he was one of the best actors in the series. Jin Goo needs to be a lead!

You know I prefer to Marathon Dramas too, but when the trailer gave me goosebumps on DoTS, I had to watch it. You know it wasn't what I was expecting based on the articles I read, or the trailer, I felt a little mislead, but it picks up after episode 2. And now that I've seen episode 4, I wish I marathon-ed this one.
