first few eps were kinda swinging b/w horror-fantasy genre which made it engaging af. 'Island arc' was hype when everyone goes missing. wish it had stayed that way through second half. lol FL's character are often done dirty in korean series. I've lost count at this point.

romance was plain weird. I just couldn't see anything more that father taking care of her daughter. that plot has enormous potential. think about it, they had reapers, goblins, wandering spirits. they could've thrown in a bunch of other mythological characters and made it a full blown fantasy. 'Tale of the 9 tailed' was interesting coz of this. they had a bunch of korean mythological creatures but they were all put to side when romance b/w leads started. I know they have budget restrictions for a tv series but I wish production houses aimed for quality over quantity :/

You mean, why didn't Ik Jun confronted Jun Wan for being in relationship with his sister? he probably avoided it coz he did not wanted those 2 to not feel pressured to make it work anyhow coz of him. He probably thought when both of them are confident enough about their relationship, they'll tell him themselves.
Omg yes, I love that scene and her dialogue after getting revenge on different people in the end was bad bad ass.
yeah. confession in first gif was also good. him apologizing to her for being ignorant of her feelings towards him. He says smth along the lines of finding her in next life and says he'll recognize her first.

I am quite certain he knew. It makes no sense for someone who's so involved in people's lives to not notice it. there were a couple of instances in S1 that affirmed this. The face he made could be due to the fact that he was surprised that they broke it off since she told him to hide it from Jun Wan.
talking about series itself, female leads are not written properly. you can't tell me otherwise. story is def…
well its not done properly. yeah its an issue with a lot of korean series (romcom or not). there are quite a no. of FLs who have little to no agency in plot :/

'Let me do smth for my country' and then proceed to make out passionately. haha
