lol priest story was such bs. kid was being bullied by everyone so he created a divided them (by putting stuff from rich kids bag to poor ones) and diverted attention away from him. for that he's the 'Devil'?? lol no one can do smth worse than what kid ML did?

is there smth more to Young Ran's character in webtoon or is it the same as series here?

wow. So Bin is not even a main character!!
this explains a lot of problem with the storytelling in series. production should've brought webtoon writer onboard to help out with the script :/

this information made this adaptation even more of a let down to me. b/w this and queer romance b/w Soo Hyun- older brother, this series could've been so much more.
is there any rumor/idea for S2 floating around? it depends on home audience. how is the response in SK to this series?

lol you can simply comment about what you like in this series instead of making a comment targeting viewers criticizing this series. and if you wanna do that, then at least provide a more constructive response than 'get outta here', so we can have a healthy discourse.

haven't read the webtoon but I can see where those people are coming from.
and nah the main romance here is uninspired and nonsensical like comment below said. friendship b/w 2 MLs (acc to synopsis) should've been center stage but its mostly been about the romance b/w 2 MCs in 8 eps.

writing is actually pretty bad in 'Goblin' starting with romance. MC relationship felt too much like father-daughter. I'm honestly surprised no one gets bothered by the fact that FMC was underage for almost half of the series. best part was probably world building and bromance of 2 MLs. Sunny-Reaper relationship had good potential which was sadly not properly explored. plot progression was slow af. I am telling you, direction, cinematography and music deserves a major credit of its success.

nah this is not SOL or melo. the problem is it doesn't knows what it is. characters are horrendously generic and flat even for 2 aforementioned genres.

very true. 16-20 hrs is more than enough for a story. I also don't need this trend of multiple seasons to grow in asian series.

SML is not the killer imo. I have a feeling he's gonna turn out to be just as someone who wanted validation from his childhood love that he's a good person and can be loved since everyone around him treated him harshly. idk why he killed himself though :/

its honestly very reminiscent of another korean series 'Dinner Mate' :/

its honestly annoying how badly 2 FLs (So Bin and Mi Joo) are written. former one always freezes up and gets saved by Joon all the time and latter one has no character outside of 'liking Soo Hyun'.
even Jun's actions are nonsensical sometimes due to this romance with So Bin. almost feels like its shoehorned in the series. that part with childhood friend is so unneeded in the story.
the saving grace of this series are Soo Hyun and Young Ran :/

like I said before, only relationship that makes sense here romantically is, Soo Hyun-Young Ran. Even for them, I think its not the correct timing rn.

its highly dramatized here. usually, no one gives a shit.

there's smth going on b/w professor and ML. or maybe smth will happen b/w them and FL catches these 2 together like she did her last boyfriend :/

this series better not go the cliché- redemption route for ML :/
