did not think it was gonna go cliche route of Ik sun's friend turning out to be a male. I don't think she is cheating but this is not good look for her at all :/
it feels underwhelming coz 'sports' part of series is quite lacking. its essentially a 'slice of life' series with some 'sports' sprinkled in. sports animes are miles better at this stuff.
I stopped in first half of series coz I saw bs amnesia plotline. also, I didn't understand the point of SML's character in the story. another negative for me was the dull performance by lead actor :/ But on a positive note, this series embraces its identity as a cliche fantasy romcom and is not trying to be smth that its clearly not like DAYS.
None of the side stories or even characters have significant role in the main story line. I completely agree with…
yes. some really poor writing. and tbh this series as a whole offers nothing appealing except for pretty faces and one good instrumental bgm of an indie band 'Helionauts'.
I stopped in the first half coz I sensed it wasn't gonna get any better. there were 2 (main and side) completely different stories going on at the same time with piss poor connection b/w two. like you also pointed out, MC romance started out of nowhere. a bigger issue was generic characters and fantasy element being flat af. such poor worldbuilding for a fantasy series. sprinkle in some poor dialogues as well. felt like some wannabe philosophical nonsense written by a teenager on Wattpad :/
imdb sucks for everything japanese/korean/chinese etc. The only thing that matters is MDL.
nah ratings on this website are even more of a joke compared to IMDb. lol 'Memories of Murder'/'Oldboy' having the same rating as 'Secretly Greatly' on this website should tell you everything.
Could someone pls recommend me a very good drama that has aired/is airing this year? (every language not specifically…
for the ones released this year-'Beyond Evil' and 'Move to Heaven' romcoms- 'Into the Ring' and '20th century Boy and Girl' slice of life- 'My Mister', 'Diary of a Prosecutor' and 'Prison Playbook' (writer also wrote this series) thriller- 'Stranger' (2017) and 'Kairos'
Want to share something I wrote on feeds about this show:I have to appreciate this show with truly showcasing…
lol yes. I am surprised how many viewers here don't see an issue with ML's actions/behavior towards FL here but ready to call her an idiot even after knowing how her past relationship turned out to be :/
nothing wrong with sleeping with someone like him since he has said or rather asserted his position. but she hasn't had enough relationship experience to know and treat him like someone who provides her pleasurable sexual experience and nothing more :/
When it says ‘toxic relationship’ what does it mean by that? Did Jae Eon mistreated her or smthin?
its more emotional manipulation here. his talking and leaning into her all the time while conversing added with inappropriate touches. he's not doing some healthy flirting with her. its honestly in the grey and girl is way too naive to see this and tell him to back off.
I couldn't tell you why, but it's because the ratings on this site are so inflated. If we're trying to be objective…
there's def a rating inflation on this website esp for korean series. its really weird that a scale of 10 points is compressed to 2. I noticed this a lot in korean romance series. viewers bash it all the way but still give it a rating of 7-8/10. Its hard to find a decent review on this website actually critiquing the problems and applauding its positives :/
