No, I’m sure. I even know how this ends. I do not want to spoil it, but I’m 90% sure about the ending, and so far, everything I’ve seen up to episode 11 ( I only started watching the series this morning) has gone exactly the way I expected.
With every episode that passes, I become more convinced that I have seen another very similar version before. I just wish I could remember it. Maybe I will, or maybe someone else can tell me the name of the other series.
Since the pandemic until now, I’ve watched over 1,000 dramas, but I don’t remember all their titles or keep track of everything I’ve seen. Still, this drama gives me a strong sense of déjà vu. Does anyone else feel the same?

There is a small triangle, yes, but the drama doesn't focus on that. It's more about revenge, fighting, death... The series is generally good. It's worth watching. MikaM I think you didn't understand the topic here. It's not about the whole story that happens here. It's about the way the ending ended abruptly. It's typical Chinese. I was so angry that even I felt like giving a star of revolt for such a stupid ending. This kind of ending, I was expecting for a 1-cent production to have a shitty ending. But I didn't expect an elite production with elite actors to give such a stupid ending. That's what it's about. It didn't end proper. After the party, they decide that we don't need the end. Made us fools who sat there and imagined all sorts of ideas for the ending, and at the end just to say The end! I'm not criticizing the actors here. They are 100% perfects. Especially Zhao Lu SI is my favourite of all the actors for her innate talent, it has nothing to do with the story. The problem here is the management of the series that decided on such a crappy ending. For something like this, they lost who knows how many votes that could have been high marks, maximums, etc. In 5 years, I've watched 700 series. I didn't even add many of them here because I forgot, or I told myself I'd do it later and then I forgot. I dreamed of being a film director since I was a little kid, and I even wrote short stories and poems and published them in the school newspaper, and I have been watching movies for as long as I can remember, and I don't mean that I watch a film a week. I mean that I watch a series of 40 episodes plus or minus in 3 maximum 4 days, and So I dare to say that this is a crappy ending considering that it's an elite level A production. That annoyed me so much. FL said to him to stay with her. To don't go. Not to let her alone. After that .... She won the contest and that's it. They left the ending up to us to believe what we want. It was one of his most watched and impactful movies for me. I had the movie on videotape and I watched it over and over again. I still have the visual memory of the living room and the black-and-white TV and me on the sofa laughing with tears with my family... and playmates who came to see it and rewatched this movie again and again... This movie gave me memorable moments that illuminated my childhood beautifully and now I had the opportunity to share that feeling. At that time it was a phenomenon! This movie for me is a movie collection! Iconic! It will remain 10 ( * * * * * * * * * * ) forever! It brightened up my childhood!
Apart from the beginning and the end, everything is great.
- The beginning was a bit boring, I wanted to give up on episode 2, but I said I'd give it another chance until the end of episode 2. I'm used to some series being more boring at the beginning because because they have to introduce the characters and I'm glad I didn't give up.
- The way it ends after a great plot that made me stay awake for a day and a night, disappointed me a little even though I was expecting a tragic ending. There were strong characters developed throughout the series but they chose to wrap everything up in just 10 minutes, rushing everything and leaving many aspects of the film unfinished.
They could have easily made a whole full episode with the ending so the story would end in a more natural way. Unfortunately, this can be found in most series. You watch dozens of episodes and in the last episode, in the last minutes of the series, they rush to the end, leaving a lot of gaps, leaving people confused Too bad the ending had a very poor quality for such a captivating series...
