Thinking about his wife who's Sang un's sister? Well, She never liked him in her past life and she married him against her own will so obviously, that marriage was never meant to be.

He did mentioned something about that female being dark Hole's kind and that was the moment dark hole started burning in his chest....

So maybe the female betrayed dark hole because of hwal and as the powerful being dark hole was, he's making them suffer for it and made them believe they're enemies....
