Yeah, that was horrible... I couldn't see them as a couple before... but after episode 3... He raped his older…
I feel like whoever wrote the storyline for the stepbrothers alongside whoever greenlit it really needs to go back to the drawing board because this really is the most problematic couple i've seen by far (them being stepbrothers is the least of my worries but everything else regarding yong jie is definitely a no go)
I really can't see how the stepbrothers can progress into a couple esp watching the latest ep. honestly yong jie being a stalker was bad as it already is but having non consensual sex with his intoxicated older brother made it even worse. On a side note though, glad that li cheng and mu ren are being supportive friends towards xing si.
I don't think HISTORY has let me down yet. In fact they seem to be getting better and better in their story telling…
I see where you're coming from! I'm pretty much 50/50 on how HIStory 4 will come along. I think its also things such as the plagarism situation which kind of left me hesitant on whether they'll still continue to do the same thing into HIStory 4.
[Possibly controversial comment ahead] I mean as much as I really love seeing the two again, I'm not surely how they're going to execute this in terms of opening in particular. I feel like if they're going to do the entire "it's all a dream" scene, it would most likely be another case of episode 10 where its might just be lazy writing once it starts off. In addition, assuming that season 2 would have 10 episodes again, I feel like that's way too many episodes if the producers are only planning to shoot the alternative ending unless if they're planning to really stretch it or if they're to add more things(?) once they finish off filming the 'if' ending (I'm honestly hoping for the latter tbh). Also, (As someone who followed season 1 whilst it was still ongoing) I felt like if they announced a season 2 a few weeks or a few months later, it would've pretty much healed the fresh wound in my heart however, because it has been almost a year already and have seen Wayne and Juan Zhi's cameo in Senjou no Bokura, I felt like I've pretty much came in terms of what happened. Overall, as much as my comment may come off as negative and that I'm honestly a little sceptical of how season 2 will go, I'm pretty open in terms of how they'll execute this season and hopefully it really won't disappoint.
