The controversy is overblown, just seeing it wasn't roasted on twitter should tell you that. People here get offended a lot faster than even twitter.

About halfway through episode 9 when Saet Byul eats noodles at Eun Jo's place you get a good view of her face. That was when I realized how pretty she is. The street scenes didn't do her justice.

I think it's rated so high because of the fans of the two leads who give 10's to everything their favorite is in. Not saying it's bad, just agreeing it's not that good.

She's a good enough actress that her character was why I was able to finish the (otherwise forgetful) Stand By Me. Then she was outstanding in Who Rules The World.

People talk about the main couple but this show was totally owned by Xuan Lu. When the writing started going downhill about halfway through her character (the older sister) was what kept me watching. I still hit FF a lot because of the (too many) sad music videos.

Considering how far downhill it went in the second half I smiled when it was over too.

Very sad.

The acting was very good, by the entire cast. The problem was in the writing, there were too many ridiculous moments. Episodes 33-35 deserved FF. Could have been very good but that whole part dragged it down to just okay.

She is a good enough actress to be great in just about any role, but this sounds perfect for her. I can't wait, I'll definitely watch it if it happens.

Speaking as a father: They'll both be parents but only one of them is pregnant and only one of them will give birth. It's a whole lot easier to be the Dad.

I couldn't finish it. The camera work was terrible, the plot was boring, and viki put subs and captions on screen at the same time with no way to turn off the Chinese captions.

The Chinese gov't now limits TV dramas to a maximum of 40 episodes so they couldn't extend it to 50.

Minister Feng Qi Wu is such a well played character, I think this drama made me a Xuan Lu fan. I'm going to check other dramas of hers once I finish this.

I found it to be really fun but it was about 6 eps too long, the ending really dragged and there were several minor plotholes.
Also, the subs on viki were pretty bad. Lots of inconsistencies and misspellings, but they sure managed to credit themselves several times every episode.
