In short, yes but much later in the story. However, if you have a stong patience, his character will end up in what I call..the best ending for someone like him. Cause if I recalled correctly, he was being set up by someone which causes him to do such a thing. Thats all I can say, I guess.

Ya, I supposed so. Well, its not an adaptation..more like an expansion reimagination of the story haha. However, for those who has never watch Legend of Condor Heroes, they should find this easier to watch, as they explained a lot on why this character behaves like that. As for the version, I kinda lean more towards the 95 version of this aka The Condor Heroes 95. Much better pacing and storyline, though the martial arts for this is far more enjoyable than 95.
