Yeaa. Rgardless, its really a well written story, and what fascinates me is Gregs speaking Japanese and he sounds pretty fluent in it too, actually thought he would converse in mandarin and Kaya would speak in Japan. Also, one thing they really manage to hide was that Gregs character already know of her passing long before his trip to Japan. Indeed really good movie.
Question...if Jackie Chans upcoming movie, The Myth 2 is a sequel to The Myth...then what about Kung Fu Yoga? Isnt that supposed to be sequel? I assume this will either take place in a parallel universe or slot in the middle of both firm?
As for where I am staying, its the cinema for now (though they are going to take it off within a few days time), but I am sure you can also watch a cam version full movie somewhere online. As to digital release, not sure too...
I would give this a 10/10 if not for the trailer...spoiler below
well the trailer kinda already hinted that Ami has left, which kinda wears of the suspense of where is Ami. If I wouldnt have known on her d, I may explode in tears in the cinema halls..cause its such an amazingly well written tragic love story..
Its actually a pretty interesting drama with some powerful dialogues as well, just that the ending is a bit rushed. Also, if youre expecting loads of kiss scenes...be prepared to be dissapointed. Overall, decent storyline, great acting.
I would say some parts are draggy, and they really took the romance term seriously, giving many characters their romantic line...though its kinda like rushed, so it became rather annoying. Still, its a decent adaptation. Leads chemistry are OK, just that it would be better if its around 40-ish episode, make it less bloated.
