I never felt that this drama was too draggy. There's so much story to tell even right up to the last episode. Fillers were a bare minimum here, unlike other draggy shows that I've watched recently. 10/10 for me!

Wow, I'm shocked how you guys find this boring. We just finished this last night and it was one of the best series we've watched in a long time. It's engaging really well made. Great message behind the story too. My husband hates watching dramas, but even he was hooked and reluctantly agreed it was a good drama.

Must watch Season 1, which was fantastic, so why skip it? Haha

Finally, after so many years, this TVB drama was amazing. The cast delivered exceptional performances, the storyline was compelling, the values depicted were impactful, and the OST (Original Soundtrack) added a wonderful dimension. Kudos to TVB for producing such an outstanding show! I'm excited to proudly share with friends and family that I've rediscovered the joy of watching TVB.

I LOVED this show and love the message it conveyed at the end! My only complaint is that I didn't care for the FL's screechy baby voice. If she deliberately put on a baby voice to act cute, I'm hoping she doesn't do it in future dramas. Her voice was so much better when she played the Devil's character. 🤭

I watched Scent of Time before watching this show. I loved that show, so when I started SOKP, the story's striking resemblance to Scent of Time made me think it would have the same storyline... but they're so different, and I love both.

I'm also desperately waiting for this, as I don't want to start watching some other mediocre show. But talking about awesome dramas, if you haven't already, you've got to watch Story of Kunning Palace. Amazing story with no boring fillers!

Have you tried Love Between Fairy and Devil. Awesome show! I thought Dylan was perfect for that role.

Entertaining. The story lacked intelligence on so many levels but was offset by Bai Lu's amazing acting (not her character's actions), though in many scenes, we also enjoyed criticising its stupidity. The chemistry between the leads felt genuine too, so overall, we still managed to enjoy and complete watching the show.

This was a nice show, but am I the only one that feels that Zhao Lu Si overacted being a teenager? As a child, the FL was smart and mature, but when she grew a bit older, she suddenly acted dumb and childish. Only when she finished high school, did I begin to really enjoy this show. I only love Zhao Lu Si when she doesn't act like a bimbo.

This is a very refreshing China series that is not draggy with only 24 episodes. It's extremely romantic and hilarious in many instances. The Male Lead (ML) is so charming and cool too.
I would have given this a 10 if it wasn't for the Female Lead's (FL) stupidity and immaturity towards the end. For instance, chasing a toy car around during a formal function, or placing fun ahead of common sense and sensibility in many instances. Despite this, I would still highly recommend this show!
