I mean, for what I understand it's about a guy transmigrating to a queen's body from the past. And the king falls…
I did not take it as if they intended to be homophobic, I feel like it was more of plot hole. The guy that overtook the queen's body was bound to go back to his world to continue his real life after all (just like scarlet heart ryeo where IU went back to present).
If you want to laugh and have fun, and get hungry for some parts (because of the cooking scenes), I would suggest to give this a try. 😉
Tbh, i felt empty after bong hwan went back to his world. This was a Bong Hwan and Cheol Jeong love story. The chemistry between bong hwan and cheoljeong was to die for. But I'll just think that some parts of bong hwan was left or innate to the queen to begin with.
I rated 10/10 for all the laughs I had. Best k-drama I've seen in years I guess.
Characters set the tone great but for some reason idk what, i couldnt get past thru ep 3. I find the plot slow and somehow silly and shallow despite its social commentaries. I'm all for revenge story but this one is not for me. I dropped this
I remembered liking this when I watched it but the ending was rather anti-climactic. Good show for me though even if there are very prominent loopholes
This show is WOW. I stopped reviewing since 2018 because i got busy with work, but this one made me feel like I HAD TO.
I cried so hard with this drama because of the camaraderie of the women and their sacrifices for a better world (sounds corny, but it happened to me IRL because of an election in my country where a humble lawyer fought against a beast!) So i totally related to this. Easy 10/10.
I wasnt able to finish watching it... just because its too much for me (the thrill and gore got me nightmares lol im that weak i know). But it was a good story! Definitely well thought of. Even if i cant watch it, i finished by reading from episode 10 to the end. The story is addicting!
I think that the genres should include horror or thriller because of the dark vibe from most of the scenes, and sometimes i get jump scares lol, or maybe its too early for me to say this as I am just at ep 3 :P
I'm enjoying this so far even if i am not emotionally prepared to watch some heavy drama haha
Many mixed feelings about this film. I think it's well made and well acted, but based on the way people talked…
it was explained by bong joon ho in many interviews that none of the characters are likeable as they were supposed to be "very humans" with both good and bad sides
but the rottenness of the rich was shown in many cases especially towards the ending, while jessica is literally dying in front of everyone, all the rich father can care of is to avoid the stinking flesh of the maid's husband
the movie is always open to many interpretations ^_^

The plot has potentials. I’ll wait for season 3.
If Jojo will not end up with Hye Young, I’ll have him lol

SIMPLY NO BRAINER, but enjoyable. Not for everyone, but I am happy to watch this when I don't feel like thinking and just want to have some laugh.
Good comedy drama!
