I agree that SOOD is different and unique, however, I feel like its not for everyone. I'm dropping after watching 10 episodes, but I already felt like dropping since episode 7. It's just too slow and repetitive for me with very little progress about the story, plus there's just a lot of plotholes. I agree that this is time traveling that keeps repeating on loop, but the repetition of things is somewhat overdone. It could have been more creative with its storytelling as it is sometimes predictable after the first half
I love the acting, the OSTs are soooooo great I loved it, its also very dark it got me nightmares lol, but the story is just meh I cant understand why it has 9.2 rating, I'm giving it an 8
And, I feel bad for Mo Jun Jie, I think of all the characters, his story is the most tragic because in another life, others were able to live their best life at some point, but for MJJ, it was always miserable and full of suffering oh how love can be so cruel to him
I love the story of the second couple, Joo Man 's character feels like my boyfriend lol. Can anyone tell me any other drama that is similar to the story of Joo Man and Sul Hee huhu thanks in advance~ ^^
But this is a feel good drama, nothing really over the top. I love how its a slice of life drama where people can relate to but also serving us cute stuff, my heart just went poof
However, I just find the last episode kind of too fast compared to its normal pace in other episodes. Was this abruptly cut?
Great cast, I love the OST, good cinematography... but the plot was just so boring for me. I'm in episode 8 and I feel like there is not really much story into it. What is the conflict? Man vs. Man? Man vs. Nature? I can't recognize. Who is the antagonist? I see everyone as the protagonists in this one. Sometimes, I feel like the dialogues are trying too hard to sound deep, but it felt meh. Overall, I think like this drama is just a feel-good drama like most of the dramas today (sorry). I really had high expectations on this one because it has a score of 8.5! I really want to like this but I feel like there is not much more to resolve, especially that they are together so early, so I'm dropping this (again, sorry to the fans). I love Se Gye though and the secretary of Seo Do Jae (who has more expressions than his boss).
So there are actually 2 plots going here, and that the present part is dependent on the past, despite being reincarnated.
Tbh, I loved the past! The lines touched my heart, the revolution grew in me, it was a cry for independence/liberation. However, I think that the delivery or execution of the story was very anti-climactic as most parts were told through dialogues (which I think is boring at times).
The only thing I find good in the present is Yoo Ah In cute smiles. Other than that, I don't think it makes sense to feel things from your past life. Just my two cents.
Overall, I think it was a good watch, but not one of the bests, and I agree with the comments below. It was overrated, and that I had very high expectations.
y'all i'm in episode 9 and i feel so touched when se ju thanked the generation who fought for the liberation of their country i am crying this is meaningful and it's pointing out how activism is not really bad
Tell me about it. It’s criminal to have him as a SML here because I’m fond of the ML as well. Ugh.
I looooove Ho Jun too!!! But the SML is having too many dreamy scenes here and I'm just in episode 4! I can't afford to see him broken hearted in the end lol
i've been watching dramas for a decade now and this is the first that i'm having a strong second male lead syndrome.............. i think i'm just gonna watch a jang ki yong drama before finishing this off just coz...
