Great watch!

PLOT AND PACE
Okay, first of all, I started watching this without any expectations, because expectations lead me to disappointment. However, this is quite a surprise. The first few episodes were a slow burn and can be boring at times, but after watching the whole series, I feel like all parts were necessary and explains the climax later on. I am happy I did not drop this. For me, the thrill started at around ep 4-5, when I felt like I couldn’t stop watching. The next episodes were really thrilling and I am reacting loudly every time that there is a shocking happening, despite it being repetitive because of time loop.

MORAL AND CHARACTERS
Reset is a genius show which presents how far we as humans can forward humanity and morality. Many concepts and theories were presented every time that the time loop resets. It poses a question of what is moral? Is it about the pleasure and safety of the majority even at the expense of some being abandoned and hurt? Does the end justify the means? How far should we care towards each other? Does peace mean fairness? Are humans defined by the extent of their conscience? And many other things that can be answered by various philosophical and sociological theories which make this series even more profound and well thought of.

Some frustrations I had though while watching:
- I abhorred how illogical the FL can be at times. I understand that the ML and FL were presented as yin and yang, with the ML being logical and FL being led by her heart. But the portrayal of the female being too emotional was something that could have been done differently.
- Romance was unnecessary. The relationship could have been platonic and cooler.
- That one policewoman who keeps on jumping into conclusions without enough evidence.

Favorite parts:
- Ahjumma’s acting was chef’s kiss!!!
- Side stories revealing the motives of each and everyone
- Plot and morals of the story
- The length of each episode was just enough
- Ending 🫶🏼
