Same here. Boys Over Flowers was might first drama. Then I started this one and decided to watch the Taiwanese one. I loved the Taiwanese one. I was a bit disappointed at how abrupt it end and seemed to be seriously rushed with the last episode, but it was wonderful.

Yes. That is why I said, the premise and the cinematography is keeping me interested. It is a very very cool time period to have a Korean Drama.

No to both. There are simply three guys interested in the lead gal. One is her arranged fiance and one that is just hinted at at the moment. No the action etc is NO WHERE central in this. There is some assassination stuff and some military stuff, but at the moment the military stuff is just backdrop.

They seem to be trying very hard to get the audience to care about the romance, but even at a three guys to Ae Sin and the triangle with the Ae Sin and the hotel gal with Eugene just has not come together yet. I am more interested in the time period of the early 1900s juxtaposed against Joseon era garb. It is interesting the vying of all the nation's on a hapless little Korea at the time, certainly more than the romance and the characters...at the moment.

No. I'm sticking with it because that's my personality. However, there has been little that has been TRULY captivating. Even saying that though, it doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it on some level. It's gorgeous and there is a truly interesting angle for me with the time period and the backdrop. Again though, it has been a little thin with the intrigue and story. I'm certainly not engrossed.

Whoever wrote the synopsis to this needs punched in the nose. That is the most egregious and inane summation ever. As he romances the ladies... WHAT THE???
This was a very good film. It ended up being very nostalgic and turned the tears on me. I recommend it.
I will say this...if you are a usual drama watcher you may feel when you watch movies like this things move too fast. Some appreciate that, others may feel like things don't get to develope as much as in a series. This does a good job of not feeling rushed, but I will say I would have liked to stay in this world a bit longer.

This was very cute and funny. Anyone trying to complain about plotholes is completely over thinking it. There are many problems, but they are insignificant to the enjoyment that drama brings. It is just a breezy, fun ride. Watch if you just want something fun to watch.

I completely with all my heart am right there with you. Tears and laughs... Longing and wishing I was apart of that world. I will cherish this drama in my heart forever. It is perfection. The best viewing ever from TV to movies...this is without a doubt the most wonderful, beautiful ever. Period.
