I'm stucked on ep8 and I don't know what to do... Continue or not? Since I watch mostly BLs and I thought I should try also something new like K-dramas and costume C-dramas. C-drama I really liked was The longest promise but probably only bcs of Xiao Zhan and the fact that his character reminded me of Lan Zhan. I tried another, A Journey to love, which I didn't like at all and now I'm watching this and I'm afraid I became one of those who don't care about straight romance anymore... but that's not it bcs I can watch and enjoy kdramas🤔This is really beautiful and I love all characters so I don't know where's the problem... I hate to say this but you're right. This has such a big potential and it's all ruined. I think many people (Including me) watch it and like it for actors, not characters. I mean, if there were new faces, the rating would be much lower... I still love and I'll give good rating but onky if they show me in those 2 eps some good and unforced ending
