GemFot deserve better

I'm sick of it. This is already the third BL with perfect cast and a perfect promise, from which something so terrible has turned out. Okay, maybe "terrible" is a bit of an exaggeration, but it definitely wasn't good. Genimi and Fourth are awesome. I love them as actors, I love their chemistry, I love their friendship, I love their projects so far, I love their interactions, I love their catch-up, I love how they support each other, but I'm not going to be less critical this time just because of the amazing actors, and honestly, I don't care this time whether someone scolds me in a hater or tells me that I should stick my opinion somewhere (because that happened with We are a Love sea).

I could extol the talent of the mentioned actors to the heavens and it still wouldn't be enough. As far as my information is correct, this series was written for them. Bought from Japan and modified for them to be exact. And that's exactly where the problem lies. They were originally supposed to play a supporting couple in 23.5, and I honestly think they would have starred there much more than here.

Thus, MLMU was not exactly bad. It was, but at the same time it wasn't. I'll try to explain. I can imagine how the series would look if Japanese production had it under its thumb. I have not yet seen or read the original version of Kieta hatsukoi or the manga with the same name, but I plan to do at least one of the above. I can't explain it, but Japan puts something into its production, thanks to which you already know at a glance that it is Japanese, and this is especially true for works based on manga. It was said in BTS that the Thai version will have both Thai and Japanese elements in it, which I was really looking forward to and was curious to see how it would turn out. Hah... So it didn't turn out well in my eyes. Again, I can imagine it could look good, but it doesn't.

Each episode contains about a million product placement ads, but I personally didn't mind that much. I got used to them over the years.

The story wasn't bad, but some... how would I call it?... elements, ruined the artistic experience. To the letter and to the letter. Some scenes had me melting like ice cream in the sun, but the scene was momentarily ruined by Atom's screams. On the contrary, it also happened that I was bored during the whole episode, but something happened towards the end, thanks to which I completely forgot about the previous 40 minutes. I experienced this, for example, in the episode where they were in the camp or where they started to figure out how they should treat each other in a relationship. And many others.

As I read the comments on MDL, I realize that I am not alone. I wanted to write a long review, but I guess I'm not going to get upset about it unnecessarily... It could have been good, it wasn't, Thailand should stop making remakes and focus on their own projects. Don't tell me they don't have enough to draw from.

Like this... The story itself wasn't really bad. It pointed to the typical problems of teenagers in love, which I liked, but I'm damn sure it could have been done differently and better. Some scenes could really be forgiven, but as for the emotional ones, they succeeded one hundred percent. For example, the one where Thap and Atom were tying ribbons or the one where Atom was mad because Thap was bitten by a snake... The first kiss, the second kiss... All of that was amazing, but I don't think it was the quality of the script, but the acting of the actors .

As for the side couple, Mudmee and Half stole my attention at times. The only thing that bothered me about them were Mudmee's friends, who I still think wanted to split them up, because otherwise she wouldn't have such kohlrabies pushed into her head.

Overall, it wasn't exactly bad, but it was also far from perfect. I haven't seen the Japanese version yet, but something tells me it's much better. I hope GemFot gets a better project in the future. They mentioned in an interview that Gem would like to play the bad boy and Fot the twins, so I strongly believe that their next series will fulfill their wishes.

Hard to rate whole drama as one topic

Well, let's get to it... 24 episodes. I went into it with the feeling that I was really scared, because some of the "gems" from 2024, of which I expected a lot, ended up disappointing me the most. 24 episodes are divided into 8-8-8, with each eight focusing on one couple. At the same time, you can't skip a single line, because they directly follow each other. Each couple has its own story, but gradually they all merge into one and in the end we have one big group on a trip, who are simply enjoying their time together.

ArcArm = I don't have much to say about these two. I guess the only thing is that I didn't enjoy their line because it was a fanfiction of A boss and a babe. It's the same story played by the same actors and the only difference was that it didn't take place in a company, but in a school. In their part, I was most interested in the MarcPoon couple, who deserved a this chasing and flirting arc after they got together in We Are in the last scene of the last episode.

YothaGun = PerthSanta are without a doubt the best decision GMMTV made in 2024. When it was announced that Santa would replace Chimon, many people had a million objections, but I think everyone understood from their first scenes that this couple had something magical. Personally, the only thing that bothered me was that their first kiss on screen was not the first in chronological order. P10L started somewhere in the middle of the plot and after a few minutes we retrospectively returned to the very beginning and the story continued. Their chemistry is incredible, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Of all the Asian BLs that I have seen, and I think I have seen more than enough, none of the couples have kissed in one series as much as these two. And it has nothing to do with the number of episodes, because their line only started in episode 9.

KlaoWarich = AouBoom proved once again that they can play anything. This time it was a toxic couple with a lack of communication and a lot of jealousy, which we honestly can't blame anyone for, because given the situation it was partially justified. AouBoom were secondary (as usual 🙃 but we'll finally see them in the lead role). I think they had too little screen time and at first I was worried that their storyline would be rushed, because everything that happened between them was for more than a few minutes together. In the finale, everything was resolved as it should have been and I think they showed the most progress and character development. Highlight: most of their romantic scenes were improvised.

FaifaWine = I didn't even plan to watch their part of the story. Actually, PerthSanta kept me going for eight episodes and I originally wanted to stop watching after their part of the story. Luckily, Faifa and Wine appeared earlier, because I fell in love with them from their first scene and they ended up beating PerthSanta, who I was probably looking forward to the most at the beginning. Their story was the best, the most beautiful and a lot of other "best" in a positive sense. JuniorMark really starred and showed what was hidden in them.

Faifa and Yotha = The brothers were exactly as they should have been. Sometimes they argued, sometimes they teased each other, but they always stood by each other. I liked that their different personalities had a deeper explanation, and that it wasn't the typical "good and bad brother" cliché. The best part was when they both had friends and were competing with each other in terms of who was more madly in love. Typical brothers, they just have to compete in everything.

Yotha and Warich = I'll probably just say that I didn't see this coming, but that scene just had to happen.

Arm a Gun = Give me another 24 episodes with them in the lead role. Please. I want nothing more than their friendship. I'm not a fan of silly comedies, but every time these two were on the set, I laughed like crazy. They deserve their own show: Arm and Gun's roadtrip or something like that.

Overall, P10L wasn't perfect, it had a few beauty flaws and scenes that the creators could have spent a few minutes over, but the series is full of positive energy (with a few exceptions), amazing characters, and a story that makes sense. When all of this comes together, it really is an amazing series, and I'm glad the first eight episodes didn't put me off watching. Personally, I would divide P10L into three series, because giving one rating for 3 different stories is a bit difficult, but if they wanted to have it in a bunch like this, I guess we have to accept it. If I had to rate the individual lines, it would look something like this: ArmArc = 2 / 5, YothaGun = 4 / 5, FaifaWine = 5/5.

Deaf people can do everything but hearing.

The first episode didn't convince me to keep watching, but luckily I almost always force myself to keep going and in this case it was definitely worth it. The actors (mainly the main characters, but of course, it also applies to the others) got into their roles perfectly. They gave the characters not only life, but above all humanity and something that makes them truly themselves.

While Shao Peng is a total sweetheart, I'd prefer to smother Zi Xiang with a pillow or at least tape his mouth shut and keep his mouth shut for a while. But the characters quickly become close, and after a little drama, the annoying Zi Xiang becomes a completely new person. His character development was incredible, and all of that only for Shao Peng, for whom he was willing to do anything just to stay with him. I liked the most when he said: "I'm goot at languages, this is just one of them. It's your language."

My 2025 resolution is to learn sign language, and with it jumping out at me from every direction now, I think I'll actually get around to it. I think we could all do without the drama in the last two episodes, so I'm just going to pretend nothing happened and that it was just a dream, because otherwise I'd have to take the star off, which I think is See your love does not deserve.

Not an ordinary love BL

Originally, I didn't want to watch this series at all. Sixteen ninety-minute episodes didn't particularly appeal to me, but since my pen pal friend was convicing me about a year that I should watch it, I thought I'd give it a chance. Partly also to give me a break with this XD.

The first episodes didn't excite me in any way, in large part because of Nut, who was really not easy to find my way to and like him. But then the flashbacks came and the more his past was revealed, the more I understood his behavior. Nut seems like an complicated character at first, but his past gives meaning to every bad word that comes out of his mouth. Tofu, on the other hand, is a total cutie. They are like yin and yang with Nut.

Teddy bear differs from other romantic BLs in that it is not just about a romantic line. In addition to love, various other topics such as domestic violence, parental homophobia, toxic family relationships, separation and many others are dealt with. Things were happening in the background all the time, which at first seemed to be unimportant, but eventually fit perfectly into the main storyline. Finding out that Song is actually Nueng's brother, that Prim knows Tarn, the assault investigation, the extremely annoying neighbor whose eyes I'd rather gouge out... All of this was directly related to Nut and somehow fit into his story. If even one detail were missing, the whole story would change from the ground up.

I knew how the story would end, so some things weren't that shocking to me. It made certain things make sense to me before their meaning was revealed, and what some people feared, I looked forward to.

Despite all that, the last two episodes got me. During them, all the emotions in me alternated, but in the end it still ended with joy. The ending was exactly what this story called for.

Rollercoaster

This is called a roller coaster... I'm not a big fan of the omegaverse, but I was curious to see how the story would unfold and I was really pleasantly surprised. It was already clear from the first episode that there would be a lot of action in the story, but I did not expect that the plot would take such a turn. I was ready for something like Love in the air, but although these two series have something in common, there is not much at all.

The chemistry between Babe and Charlie sparkled so much that it blinded everything else around. Their scenes were simply unforgettable and whether they were acting like lovebirds, helping each other, trying to protect each other or fighting, the actors always gave it their all. Behind the scenes videos and fanmeetings are just proof that Pavel and Pooh are a perfect duo and I firmly believe that I will see them in another project soon.

The side couples were also great, but the "side couple steals the show" rule didn't apply here. Babe and Charlie starred in all circumstances. But Way completely won me over. I know what the vast majority feel about him, especially after THAT event, but I stand by the fact that he wouldn't be able to do it anyway.

S P O I L E R >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Way Baba loved sincerely and from his heart. He wouldn't be able to hurt him, and if it went that far by accident, he would never forgive himself and would blame himself for the rest of his life. I don't know anyone who liked him and everyone hated him after THAT event, but I knew he would get his redemption arch and win everyone's hearts in the end. The same goes for Kenta. Kent completely surprised me. A few hours ago I read somewhere the theory that Tony will be stabbed in the back. He did it Literally. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< <<<<<<<<<< END OF SPOILER

I had an inkling of what would come at the end, but it still broke me. The best experience associated with Pit babe was watching episode 8 or 9 on a tablet on the bus.

So... This is how I see it

Ep1: I hate him I hate him I HATE HIM and I'll run from school because of him

Ep2: I want to avoid him so I pretend to be sick. He knows, he visites me and takes me to see some beautiful place. Suddenly I don't have a problem to sit in his car and I don't object.

Ep3: He takes me to my favourite food and now I'm head over heels. And I fenally told my friend (and watchers as well) ny sister liked him and he liked her back. I know it's true and I'll be do down bad when I'll find out it was all misunderstanding...

Sorry guys, I can see why you like it, but this is just not my cup of tea.

Kinda agree with all the low rating, but...

In the beginning, let me tell you this one could be really good and I feel like one episode more would be enough for this to be really perfect. By really, I mean really.

The chemistry was good. I totally loves both main characters. But I would like to know the meaning of that third one. Of curse, he was there to make love triagle, it was obvious he had crush on Min Jae, everybody knew except him and that's good. There is nothing wrong with that. But I feel like it could be made in a better way. Something was odd and I can't tell what exactly, but there was something about him that really bothered me. And it was't the fact he was there to make love triangle.

Next. title. Blossom campus. What campus, exactly? It was set in school, but I would rather call it Blossom library, if you really need "blossom" word there. Or Blossom friendship. So many options and you chose this one? Really?

The story... It wasn't far from perfect actually. As I mentioned before, the chemistry was great, but that's not enough. There were some holes and things that didn't make sense but it would't take much to cover all of those.

You may ask, why did I give so high rating? Well, let me explain.

It's very possible I'll repreat myself. It was not bad. Actors were perfect and I love not just their chemistry but also their interactions and parts from bts where we could see they are good friends and comfortable with each other. They are good match for BL couple. The thing which wasn't thought through was the scenario. Sorry not sorry, but there were stupid plotholes which could fi filed and cover just with one episode. Once they were acting like couple, touching each other, even holding hands... And then one of them was surprised that people assumed they are dating? Really?

Overall, I enjoyed this and I'm not going to lower my rating. I feel like 9.5 is ok even tho my review might seems much worse. I can see the potentional and I feel like it wouln't be fair to rate this lower just because of not perfect script.

You know, Sount Korean BL with chemistry like this? I'm sorry, but it deserves high rating even tho it's not enough to make good storyline.

Jazz is jazzing

This was really good one. The story seemed to be ordinary, but it wasnt! Not at all. All four important characters were really interesting and their behaviour made sense to the storyline. I love the chmistry between MCs becuase they just really match together. Some say their acting could be better, but I really enjoyed them. I admit there were scenes where I was like: "The what is that?" but was not their fault. To me it seems like some scenes just weren't in the finale version, but that's just my opinion. Side couple was also great.

Amazing

What to say? I’m not a huge fan of JBLs but I needed something short and unfinished since this was airing during my exams time, so I decided to watch this. My opinion? WOW! This was so so sooo good!

If you want to ask why I don’t like JBL, I don’t really know how to answer this question. Maybe it’s because of their distanceness, maybe because of the fact that some BL’s I can imagine as anime but as live action it seems odd to me, maybe something totally different… I really don’t know. But I think you’ll agree when I say JBLs have something which makes them Japanese and it’s not only Japanese actors. I don’t know how to explain it but when you watch JBL, you just know it’s JBL before they start speaking. Does it make sense? I hope so…

This one as well and here I really enjoyed it. Two actors who are going to act in a BL drama? Yes, that seems like something I’d like to see, so I started to watch. Half of the series was already out, for the next half I had to wait every week, After some episodes I wanted to scream and throw things around but then I saw the preview for next ep and I calmed down. Not always, tbh, sometimes it was vice versa.

The first thing I noticed was their chemistry. It was really something. They basically kissed in the first episode. Yeah, it was that dead fish kiss where they just put their lips together but with the music and tension and everything around it made me feel butterflies. Don’t worry, we’ll get to see more than that…

The story is mostly shown from Yuki’s POV but there is one ep where you can see Asami was actually the one who fell first and also harder. And now imagine how he had to control himself… Well, maybe not so much since he was the one who came up with the idea of pretending to be boyfriends so they could get more into their characters. Maybe it was his strategy? Who knows…

They fell for each other really fast, but they lacked communication so everything took more time than it was necessary. Now, when I saw the last ep, I know it was actually a point, not a mistake or plothole. It’s exactly how it’s supposed to be and it makes sense.
They kind of remind me of Sasaki and Miyano. Asami was that cool one as Sasaki and Yuki the shy one as Miyano. Damn, I wish Sasaki and Miyano got a live action drama! It would be so good, trust me.

Ok, back to Asami and Yuki. Damn, when they called each other by their first name, it was so intimate...

During those 10 eps we actually got two bed scenes. First one was shown as Asami and Yuki’s characters and the second one was the real them. Guess which one was hotter? Just kidding, both of them were totally amazing.

The very last scene shown something which is giving a clue about season 2, so there is a small posibility we could see those two again.
