I'm in the middle of Episode 7 and I have to drop this. How are they going to fill 13 more Episodes? It already feels draggy. Everything about this story is so predictable imo. Also I know there are many comments that say otherwise and I might be earning a lot of hate for this but personally I think the ML is childish and annoying. It's not wrong to let out your inner child once in a while or even often but he is doing so many things that are just stupid and unnecessary. I'm sorry it's not for me.

Love this drama ... ♥ Does anyone know if there's a way to watch this drama with German sub? I watched the english subbed version which is no problem but I'd love to watch it with my mom but she doesn't understand any English...

My concern about this drama is not even the cliches or tropes but the fact that the aspect they were meant to…
In the beginning they focused more on this aspect. There was a grwoth of the FL up until the end but it wasn't too much concentrated on the main issue anymore. So I kind of get what you mean and partly agree. Because I think they should have shown more how accepting herself for who she is had an impact how she deals with people bullying her. Like the scene in Episode 3 (I think it was then). when she ran into these mean guys who were very harsh with their words, calling her ugly and that she should go hide... (She's not even ugly) but I still feel like that most of the time it doesn't change how other people view you but if you hafe self-confidence it won't bother you or at least you know who you are and you don't have to listen to such people but just turn your back and walk away...

Overall it was a nice drama but sadly most Dramas can't finish as amazing as they have started.

Also coming from someone who HATES love triangles anyway they focused way too much on it. Was like another "Cheese in the trap" where the second male lead gets too much attention (don't get me wrong... He did a great job and I felt soryy for Seo Jun because unrequited love is one of the hardest things...).

So after watching Episode 7 I can honestly say that Su Ho won my heart ♥. Even before ... but let me tell you why. And btw I didn't read the webtoon (only a few chapters but I have to admit that I like it better how the kdrama is unfolding but that might be only because I tried to read it afterwards ... because I know it's usually the other way around. So I don't blame anyone for thinking differently. This is just my personal opinion).

The scene where they are at the comic shop and Su Ho is comoforting Ju Gyung has so much written between the lines. Combine this with everything else so far and this drama is gold. I haven't watched too many dramas because I'm rather picky and also because I don't have much time. So I only chose the ones that really catch my attention. I already have a favorite drama but this has potential of might holding a special place for me and it's not even finished airing yet. All because Su Ho told her the words she needed to hear the most at this very moment. That she did well (on her tests) and that he's proud of her. If you consider Soo Jin's case it only goes to show how much harm it causes if you put pressure on someone. The fact that Ju Gyung cried over her lost make-up makes it clear. Because if there's something so minor as to make you feel this desperate most of the time there's more to it. Nobody could understand all the trouble she had to endure in the past (and which is still part of her because it doesn't go away that easily). And then there is Su Ho who understands and comforts her and who takes her for who she really is (even calling her beautiful ... And I honestly think he meant it).

All the issues I had with the drama "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" are completely resolved in this drama. Because there was the problem that you could never tell if the male lead would have fallen for her anyway and it bothered me that he didn't fall for her before she changed (and I don't even think she was ugly before). But in this drama Su Ho first ignored her and only started warming up to her AFTER knowing her real self. This teaches so many valuable lessons and I sincerely hope that the writers won't mess up by giving her a perfect face at the end (even without make-up she's still far from being ugly imo).

There were a lot of misunderstandings in this episodes too.. But overall I really think this is a one of a kind masterpiece. With that being said... I might earn a lot of hate for admitting this but I personally don't think that Cha Eun Woo is that attractive (he's good looking but I'm only saying that I've seen more attractive actors) but given his personality in this drama he's one of the best male lead characters I've ever come across (at least so far... I don't know what's coming next...). And every girl that meets a guy like him can be happy (or even a friend like him).

Sorry for this long comment but these were just a few thoughts I had on my mind after watching this episode. Thank you very much for reading.

P.S. Am I the only one who felt really uncomfortable when Ju Gyung tried the lipgloss at the store? Even without this pandemic this would be a no-go... O.o.

As far as I know it's twice a week (I read somewhere it's every Tuesday and Thursday).
You're welcome :)

Does anybody know how often they update the episodes? Is it twice a week? Once a week?

So I'm on Episode 26 now and just have some thoughts on the "pairings"

As for Min Ji... I was really shipping her with Kyung Woo but at this point she needs to realize you can't force a person to like you the way you do. What's really the worst is that she is hurting Sang Hoon with her actions. He's such a nice guy. And it's ALWAYS wrong to use another person to forget someone (besides the fact that it is not possible it's also unfair to the other person involved).

And I know well you can't decide whom you like but the fact that Kyung Woo developed feelings for Ja Rim AFTER she got together with his best friend annoys me a lot. That's one reason I'm never going to ship them even if Joo Young has an annoying personality...

I'm porbably going to earn a lot of hate for this... but it seems like I'm the only one who's a little annoyed with Seo Jun. Don't get me wrong... his character has potential to grow because he seems to be very nice (caring for his Mom) and he has also been though a lot. Losing someone close... a beloved friend is hard. But I guess I'm generally not into the "bad guy" character who's actually soft on the inside. Then again... I'm not a fan of love triangles and I'm only bearing with it under certain circumstances. And this drama is too good to drop it because of it. Especially if it is unclear how it will turn out yet.

I really hope Seo Jun and Ju Gyeong become very good friends. In my personal opinion she has more chemistry with Su Ho. And he's accepting her and starting tolike her for who she really is. An I like that part... Hopefully he gets to explain his side of the story and is able to heal from it as far as possible.

I thik it is over exaggerated in a way but also harsh reality. Even where I come from bullying can be pretty harsh/…
I didn't mean it happens to everyone like that but if you're surrounded by the wrong people and they already see you as an easy target it happens... no matter where you live. And even her own family "joining"... Especially if you have a talented, popular, pretty sister you can be compared to.

It actually has an impact on you still even as an adult (in regards of self-esteem, self-love etc.) but I have to admit that I think it actually made me stronger and who I am today. It left some scars but not in a way I'd complain about it (of course I wish it would have been differently) but you can't change it but you don't need to be a victim of your past and you can use it to grow to a beautiful person (on the inside). At least that's what I try to do. (Hey, it helped me to become a writer... so that's a plus).

But by experiencing something like this I naturally empathize everytime this issue comes up (whether in a drama, book or somewhere else). I'm also sorry you had to go through rough experiences yourself. I hope they were not as bad.

You know, after you find out about the Korean beauty standards, you start wondering if they are overreacting or…
I thik it is over exaggerated in a way but also harsh reality. Even where I come from bullying can be pretty harsh/ rude. The scene when she was a child and was being called a monster by the other kids just because she's considered ugly (and in my opinion she isn't) hit too close to reality for me... Sadly there are people who are superficial like that and thus often their children learn from what they observe. Or people choosing their friends mainly based on their looks/ status (not just in Korea but I thkin there people are overly focused on looks). Then again... Happily not all people are like that. But eventhough this drama is (as usually) exaggerated to make that point stick out it's sad to say that it is also very realistic in that regard. Even having a whole group of people against her, making fun of her... The scene where she asked them why they hate her so much and what she did to them (by which the main bully said because she's so ugly) is also very realistic.

Anyone who thinks that this is not how normal people would treat each other is lucky enough to never have experienced something like this (I would not wish this to anyone).

I ship Kyung Woo and Min Ji so hard ... I really, really hope they'll end up together (I even care more about them than about the main couple).

But after reading some of the comments here I'm getting kind of anxious...

I'm currently watching this drama. And I'm dying to know the song from episode 2 that plays around 25 minutes (during the flashback while Ha Na is getting ready). Does anyone know what this song is called?
