I was hooked early on. After the story line...
9/29/2024 2:43pm California. USAI think the 🌺actors portrayal of their characters is the main reason I stayed up watching since 6am this morning, after being up all nite watching 24 epi for another film that had a flat dissapointing ending.
The last 3, 4 episodes had me saying REALLY? Some of the on going decisions by the female lead insisting on self sacrafice, and the her final decision was selfish, the whole point of the movie was to relocate and save as many of the Ji people as possible, so I am not sure which plan, in the dual ending shown actually happened..... There was a descriptive text explanation across the top of the screen as the last scene played out, however , it was two sets of sentences that had another set of text overlapping the original text. And as a fast sight reader, I had to rewind & freese the screen to try & read it.
As I said I am confused, I looked up the movie here hoping someone had mentiontioned the ending & maybe had a bit more clarity, but no.......

Whom ever😵 edited this film either left film from the last few episodes on the floor, or the 😔Director was saddly short sighted and didn't feel it necessary! Big Mistake either way..
I vote the 😁👍 lead actors and the 😁👍supporting actors saved this movie, just a bit more clarity at the end people would have been appreciated!!🌺

DNWYT cliff hanger, horrible way to end S #1+S#2 Canceled
FL # # has 0 connection w ML, FL's acting feels like it was suppressed & mis-directed. The storyline keeps going w too many bad scenes yet she's not smart enough to realize she could end it all by telling her husband after she realizes he loves her? get a detective to find Mom & put the Biatch sister in jail,, but no, let her drug you w ecstasy and dump you in a full warm tub, cut your (1) only 1, ha, ha( can't have guts to do it right,) with a butter knife even.... then nothing's done, husband's dumb, she's dumb, both female protagonists are dumb & no body sees anything, waste my time!! No wonder ,Who in their right mind would continue to conceal that she was a stand in for blackmail thru out each episode, nothing good happens. wthe hubby thinks is a cousin is moved into the house???🤣😂. the sister also sets up the husband & climbs in the sheets with his knocked out useless body, to take pics to set him up...
1. The ML is pretty average in looks, I never felt any connection w his character, and he wasn't believe able unless they told you he was slightly immature & delayed? he cant ever put 2&2 together, even after his investigations, he reads them and then goes home to ask ..Where's wife, not home out, duh ok,I heard this at least 10 times 1 per episode at least, he isn't a pretty boy, but he should act like one, for a playboy, he didn't live up to the part, or as a CEO or husband, sorry he was a dude, ok he beat up some guys, but he's is still a wimp!
2. FLead #1 has no charm or redeaming qualities. her part is poorly written, suprised she's not taking Prozac after trying to assimilate her role....
3. FLead #2 Absolutely Schizophrenic, obcessed but never sold me, her part was either written poorly, or the director had bad ideas of how to portray this story line, way too drawn out, they could have told season 1 & 2 in one season and saved the show with a higher rating, people were so upset & disenchanted by the end of season ... the director thought it would endear watchers if he ended during the middle of a crisis.... that only works in the USA when a director has a show with high ratings or( " Dawn of the Dead") where you can afford leaving watchers hanging on a cliff because they are invested in the characters and the movie. this director gave up no hope ever, every bad situation left of with no resolution, and no hope for the better, just bad after bad after bad! ( Don't remind me Trump is our President again, yes that bad).Seriously, You might as well explode a shit bomb at the end because the director & killed this story in increments until episode 33???? It could be many things, I feel bad for us watchers and the actors!!!! But I feel like the writer(s)? and / or director ruined this movie by casting lead actors that had no connection w each other@ all the supporting cast was likeable, good or bad... I have seen all the lead actors in other films, their was a huge difference in their acting w good story & plot & direction. The writer needs some writing skill classes, you have need instances of hope & good in-between bad.... Sorry but 33 episodes over a night & half pisses me off when it's wasted! Busted & disgusted in Calif. I feel like staying w Viki & iqiyi, yt is depressing! 🌺 Wind
