I haven’t read the novel, but this topic was a big fuss online and protested by book fans. It’s always possible in the drama version they may upgrade her (if it’s really her) with a heavier role than other female support roles, but no romance. I hope they won’t because having a FL title already causing confusion!

It’s misleading rumor. There’s no FL or couple pairing in the novel. Li Qin, Xia Meng, and Wang He Run are the female actresses being rumored for the female support roles. No confirmation yet.

There is no female lead. There are a few female supporting roles.

It’s only 24 episodes and probably minimal CGI. It is taking as long as GOTD post production. 🙃
