That's one gorgeous man with light brown eyes. I could not recognize its the same guy in My Beautiful Man and I Cant Reach You. Styling was so different.
I just finished Part 2 and came here for some answers but did not see anyone asking this question. Its in the…
Why did they not reveal the part about Yoon So Hee's pregnancy? I mean it came up twice in the show but they did not clear the fact that who was the father or how she got pregnant? It seemed very relevant to me.
AMEN. I do blame Korea's older generation since it's still a bit wonky when it comes to LGBTQ+ people.
I agree and disagree both. Agree cuz yes, older generation to be blamed but they have made progress too, right? This leads me to disagree because we can see very good BLs now from Korea itself in 2021 - 2022 like Blueming, Semantic Error, Cherry Blossoms after Winter, To My Star, etc. And its not just the kiss scenes I am talking about. I am talking about the chemistry and sincerity with which you do justice to the role. I dont care if you are straight/gay or of any other orientation. The actors were so awkward with each other in this that it became unbearable to watch.
I didn't read the manga, but from reading the comments, I believe the threesome was unsuccessful and that's why…
Jdramas really be very interpretive style. I think I now have much clearer understanding and concept of what went down. And yes, I do pay attention to everything being said and shown in anything otherwise what's the point of investing your time and watching it. Like to understand what the director wanted to say and wanted us to understand really!! Thank you for words too π
I just finished it and I am so freaking tired of all the lame dead fish kisses in BLs honestly. Its 2022 (now 2023) for God sake!! Its not even just the kisses, the slow movement towards each other faces like as if they are about to kiss a frog, their hugs and oh Lord the bedroom scene.. everything was so STIFF and AWKWARD. I started feeling uncomfortable just watching them.
Sometimes, even if you have good acting and story, the dead chemistry between the leads ruins it all. Don't cast or sign up if you are not ready to do it convincingly, is all I am saying !! Spare the viewers.

Thank yo so much for your reply. Yes, I agree after reading your explanation about Eiji's feelings, its unbelievably realistic and sad because people really do spend their entire life in closet just to survive this harsh world. Just wished they were a little bit more clear with the pregnancy thing because Makki did not directly accuse them ever. It seemed like he was already aware of the fact that Eiji and Meiko had slept separately, he just needed to confirm whose it was.
***SPOILER ALERT*** I loved the screenplay and how this show was directed. But I have QUESTIONS!! So someone please help ππ
1. In the show, they showed that they kind of went on a trip and 'did the deed' together. But later the father of the child was decided by calculating the number of weeks Meiko was pregnant. So, was it like automatically implied that they did it more than once or twice over a period of time? I really want to understand this because this single thing somehow changed the entire course of their lives.
2. After Meiko got pregnant, did Eiji's feelings really change towards Meiko? I thought he was just being caring and considerate towards Meiko since she took such a huge step for them. I mean in earlier episodes he did say that he never had any feelings towards any girl ever. Can you really change your orientation just like that? If thats the case, then after spending almost 5 years married to Meiko, when he finally sees Makki, why does he break down after returning home and smelling Makki's clothes?
I totally agree. He is seriously a very handsome man with good acting skills. His entire discography shows him as support/guest role apart from Novelist series. I have no clue why :(
It's a train ticket. Giwoong bought it so they can run away together.
Omg! Thank you so much for that explanation. Yes I do remember their conversation. That's just beautiful and kind of ties off that loose end for me. Now it gives so much deeper meaning to the scene. Thanks again β€
I watched him in 'Move to Heaven' first. Much later when I saw him in 'The Smile has left your eyes' I just couldnt recognize him at all. Just felt like I have seen this face but where?!?! The difference in both characters was so vast. Now I am a firm believer of - Your hairstyle can do wonders for you ππ

None of the leads were happy at the end.

Just like SeoJoon and Jiwoo in 'To My Star' series.

Not sure if it will work for different regions.
