I've only seen the first part of Ep 18, and I'm so sad about the brother's death. That was totally unexpected... but I don't understand why HQ had to run back to the middle of all the fighting, when she was already moved safely to the side...
I'm getting the feeling that ZYL actually does have feelings for the HQ. HQ keeps thinking all the males like MY, when in this lifetime, the Lord and now I think ZYL actually have feelings for her too. Do any other viewers feel that way too?
Ep 32 & 33 has some cute moments between ML & FL. Cute to see middle aged experiencing feelings of shyness & youth, and I found myself smiling looking at their pure and innocent interactions. At first, I found the ML kind of boring but now I can see so many good qualities of his. I wish more men were so supportive and also can make their women feel loved yet respected.
The whole drama was full of beautiful people, great acting. Just not a fan of the ending. I would only be satisfied with this ending is if there is a season 2!!!
I watched this series just like I watch Kingdom, fast-forwarding and skipping the fighting scenes. Even though…
Same, I don't like blood or fight scenes, but all other scenes were great! I skipped many parts in the last few episodes due to the fights. I'm like that with all other dramas too. I just can't stand blood.
The actors are so good at holding tears in their eyes. Iβm surprised to see that no matter how strong the characters are, they can all have tears, which shows a very human side to them. I think thatβs why we as viewers feel attached to almost all the side characters. Tears are not weakness and I love how the director uses the tears of the characters!
Ep 17 was so heartbreaking... I didn't expect that at all... I'm so glad all the actors, even in more minor roles can act, and they are all very good looking in their own unique way!
Second leads are such main lead material! It's so refreshing that second leads have good acting. Many times, in some other dramas, second leads are lacking in the talent or looks dept, but here, they have it all! I also love the main leads here too.
Watching ep 16, there are all these beautiful Chinese poems (in Ep 16 and also previous episodes) - oh how I wish I could understand what they mean. ^^
In Ep 15, how can someone (GSJ) just enter Back Hill and interupt when the future Sword Wielder is undergoing his trial? Just seems like security in the back hill is lacking. >.< Don't want to be nitpicking, but I felt that scene was a little bit too much. Thought he was there to ask Elder Yue about the investigation. (I didn't watch Ep 16 yet, so maybe Ep 16 might provide the answer)
Other than that, I think the camera work is so good, like a movie!
