Overall, this drama is nice. It's a 8.5/9 out of 10 stars overall for me. If I had to mention one thing that I wish was done better, it would be (in my very personal opinion - and I'm no expert) for the male lead actor to be less stiff in his interpretation of his character in some scenes that were a little distracting for me.
Genuine questions: where does Fu Sheng get all his power from? Why does the immortal Realm fighters combined with Divine fighters look so weak against him during the battle in the beginning of Ep 36? Maybe I fast-forwarded some scenes and missed important info? Or maybe I need to watch further to understand his identity and where his power source comes from? Can anyone fill me in so that it makes more sense? Because for now, it just doesn't make sense that Fu Sheng has that much power.
The story of the King of Chimei and Liu Yu was so unexpected, and made me cry. It was not what I expected at all. I'm glad I didn't read any spoilers, intro, details on the story. It made the drama unfold in such a magical way.
Wow, I don't think I've cried and laughed so much in any other show. The way things turned out in the end was also a pleasant surprise, and I learned a lot about communication by watching the guests interact. Was so touched by the brotherhood, friendships especially - they looked genuine. Thank you to whoever casted these lovely people. I did skip a lot of the panel speaking parts since it gets long. haha. But I really enjoyed all the panelists, especially Hai Tao and Rainie. The guest panelist Zhang Chun Ye really impressed me with her insightful remarks. When the panelists cried, I cried too. Patrick brought a fresh youthfulness. His Chinese is so amazing.
hahaha, I'm on ep 11, and Da Qi is seriously the funniest guy I've seen on reality tv. He is effortlessly funny and makes people laugh out loud. He would make a funny panelist for sure. ^D
Overall, liking the drama, but I really don't like excessive drinking scenes - I feel those are unnecessary. That's not the right method to forget your worries, but it's actually dangerous to have medicine with too much alcohol. But I know we're in dramaland... just hope young folks don't imitate that kind of behavior...
Exactly, that was so weird. And her face is too distracting and unnatural... The interaction with Minhyuk is....…
Yea, I agree... I am aware that it is common that people in the entertainment industry get plastic surgery done (with all the pressure they get to look good on camera)... so I usually try my best to look past it and just focus on the story and acting, but sometimes it's really hard... To be honest, I was also distracted by the FL face here too... which sometimes looks a bit unnatural and too thin... (which I know is for the sick patient look) sigh...
