I am not even a big fan of him but it was everywhere.
I usually watch dramas based on themes eg strong female leads or friends to lovers.
I personally admit that the cast plays a big part in my watching a drama.
A barely bearable drama can be fun with Yoon Shiyoon in it lol

I loved Its Okay To Not Be Okay. The female lead is awesome but it actually took me 2 seconds to love it because the animation triggered memories to my favorite song and dancing with my friends lol:

Innocent Man 2012 is the closest I can think of but I havent found a female lead as scary as Han Yeojin.

I didn't get it until I looked up a much younger actress, and found a photobook on a website. I saw a more expensive photobook by Marika on the recommended list lol
She really is a big deal. I think the lab coat in Doctor X just didn't do her justice.

Very true. I recall a customer who was a crush of the male lead. I think I was played by Yui Ichikawa. I initially thought Erika Toda. The customers were relevant to the plot in season 1. I guess this is why it is hard for sequels to do well when the original is so good. At least we don't get 10 seasons line US TV series lol

I found his character unnecessary. The cast was already big enough. I wanted their backstories to be explored or to see charactergrowth of the old cast.
It felt like a wasted opportunity. I am not looking forward to season 3
