If I can use one word to describe this Xianxia, I would use the word “ ethereal “. Watching this was such a heart-warming captivating experience. It genuinely took me through a rollercoaster of emotions and it gave the novel justice. I am glad that they payed attention to most characters development stories. The soundtrack, acting, visuals and ending.. everything is absolutely amazing. I deeply appreciate how they dedicated a whole episode just to portray SL and XZ happiness and how carefree they are now. I will always rewatch this masterpiece.
Honestly I’m impressed by how the story is unfolding so far, I was expecting to be bored but I wasn’t at all. Also, ML punches are so satisfying like yes man beat em’ up. On the downside, I think it’s not easy to understand his emotions? I hope he improves later on
I'm interested in the story, but after ten episodes, I'm still not convinced by Lin Geng Xin (in terms of acting,…
I understand your opinion. However, in terms of acting, I think it’s important to point out that the character he’s playing isn’t supposed to show emotions in the story, at least for the first half of the show.
The part where he was trying to remove the metal shards and she goes "phoenix mode" and he touches her "feathers"…
If I remember correctly, nothing about her feathers appeared in the novel (I might have forgotten and be wrong though) but I do recall that she as a phoenix was burning hot in that moment hence the fast heartbeat and nightmare but then XZ used his power to cool her down, slow her heartbeat and turn her nightmare into a sweet dream. I’d assume they wanted to convey that XZ didn’t care that touching her feathers burn because he deeply loved her.
wait a minute...no episode tomorrow???? Why are they torturing me like this??
I don’t know why they have it like that here, but yesterday in Weibo they confirmed that they will be airing 2 episodes from Monday to Thursday and 1 episode from Friday to Sunday. Unless I’m missing something!
That statement "I like you" in Asia means love? 'Cause I don't know if he said I love you or I like you.
the literal translation of wǒ xǐhuān nǐ (which is what he said) is “I like you” , it’s the real way to express your love in Chinese even though it might not sound right in english.
2 episodes from Monday to Thursday at 20:00 and 1 episode from Friday to Sunday. 🤗
