Have you ever read any wuxia novels? Most are fantasy that incorporate cultivating energy in a sense which is where their strength comes from. Not that this specific one is like that, but still it is considered fantasy. It is okay if you don't enjoy this genre as we all have things we like and dislike. :D
That is an interesting opinion. There are definitely some tropes I find overdone but they are genres I don't generally enjoy. I do not enjoy a damsel in distress so I never get tired of these kind of dramas.
I can understand your point of view but I disagree. This is a fictional story. I don't think anyone who enjoys these shows genuinely takes it that seriously . I think it's fun but I understand your point.
Not arguing, but it’s the mind of 12+ year old and she’s one of the few characters that seems to have gotten…
I totally agree about someone at least someone being happy :D She was the only bearable character in this whole show lol! I am absolutely thrilled to have met someone equally as reasonable and kind which is very hard to find on this site. I am absolutely planning on watching that as well! I am excited to be able to share my thoughts with you on it :D

:D Not arguing either I promise , All positive here! Always down to discuss. I would like to elaborate more on my opinion. For me whether it is 6 or 12+ it is the same .I absolutely agree she did grow throughout the series. I felt she was more mature in most situations ironically because she has an innocent mind. If it was someone who dealt with the same issues as her I think it would have been great and more realistic . She does not have the capacity to truly consent to anything though with someone who has developed normally which is why I find it inappropriate .
I always enjoy a frustrating "family" drama. The only complaint I have about this one is Ma Ri and Do Jun's relationship. It just isn't appropriate . Ma Ri has the mind of a six year old. I am not sure why they had to have her be in an adult relationship here. It is distasteful and unrealistic.
I enjoyed this show a lot. I do feel the ending was slightly unrealistic though regarding her depression. Most mental health issues are for life. You learn how to cope better sure...But therapy and sometimes meds are vital for management and it isn't something you just stop.
I'm liking this a lot. I don't necessarily enjoy "hidden identities" when everyone already knows everyone is hiding their identities though lol I feel like so much info was exposed or speculation is already out there and it makes it less enjoyable. The big reveal usually is fun. Oh well. I am definitely still enjoying it.
