Watched season 2 during a family gathering expecting it to be exciting but there was too much talking... felt like soap opera seriously

I re-watched as I wanted to refresh my mind before watching season two - but realised the story was not as what it used to be. Perhaps, I watched too many dramas over the years..
The scammer part some of the stories were not on point - felt like each time when they tried to cheat the villians then it was just touch and go
