Well from all i have seen the main character is Tong Yao and the others are like support cast that will appear in different time eras with his character appearing in the 1930s era and i think Lin Yun as the FL.

He is rumored to have signed a costume iqiyi drama with Bai Lu as FL.

Haven’t seen the rumor but it’s highly possible. Since the drama will include many eras he probably won’t film it more that a month and will do back and forth shooting.

I think they will air it this year as well. Around winter time probably cause i doubt till the summer slots they will have finished with the cgi.

Visuals, costumes and cgi for stellar dramas are top notched. The problem with the other one is no chemistry between leads and bad script. With bad script even top actors can’t safe a drama. At least for now our scriptwriter has done amazing job for both lbfad and destined which were both top dramas when aired and were insanely praised.

This will probably be a hit in China. I can see it having amazing TV ratings.

I just hope Tian Jia Rui gets to act in many different productions and different directors not only in GJM productions.

I hope they air it at the right time so it can be a hit.

A very good actor. Hope he gets to act in a big budget drama next as the ML.He has been doing amazing job till now making each of his costume dramas hits despite not being S class drama excluding sokp cause he is not the ml. Hope he reunites with Tian Xiwei and Zhou Ye in another drama.

They really needed a big change. Can't never forgive them how they f up some of my favorites actresses dramas.

I really loved Blossoms in Adversity . The FL cast is amazing , the ML could have been better but it's still really good.
