Title I Told Sunset about You Spoiler
How long do y'all think Teh has been in love with Oh? Because I think he has always been in love but never realised…
Well said, these are exactly my thoughts. Whether he has always been in love or if he has always seen him more than a friend, I am not sure. The reason he never even realized it is because well, they were children and you know how kid's are they don't really care about these type of things + he was so focused on his ambitions and dreams and proving everyone that he can make it, he literally didn't have time for it. Notice how now, even before actually meeting Oh-aew again since his position in the university is set, he is relaxed on that part of his life and that's when all those thoughts about Oh-aew started to appear. Literally, in the first episode he can't stop looking at him and then goes home and is literally hiding under his blanket again curious about Oh-aew's whereabouts. He was whipped for Oh-aew before he even knew what the word means.

Here I am yet again commenting on this show, but this time more than anything what i want to talk about is about is the whole show not just what's to happen next. I think if we look at the bigger picture, things can seem more clear. So here's what I think:

Previously, I made a huge post analyzing every popular theory that i've seen people taking about and tried to see which on makes more sense. I seemed to rely heavily on the overall moral lesson of the show and what we as an audience can learn from it. My main issue with each of those endings (which all theories were sad/open ended) was that such ending would have to compromise the moral lessons meaning that they would sort of LIQUEFY those lessons instead of SOLIDIFY the take away from the show. This is not english class but the words i've used have a very specific meaning/purpose in this context, and in order for you to understand what i am about to say next, i'll have to explain those two words (look for the words in capitals above).

-LIQUEFY = make something liquid. When you think of liquid think of water, it has no shape, therefore this word can be expressed to explain something that is fluid, hard to grasp on. Water also is represented by the color blue which we know by now that is the color symbolizing Teh.

-SOLIDIFY = make something hard/solid. When you think of solid think of a rock you can easily pick it up with your hand since it has a shape and it's hard. This word (solid) is represented by the element of earth which is literally the ground we walk up on. When you describe a situation/person as solid you know you can rely on them.

By applying those words to the show and to what I said above about the moral take away from the show you can see how a more liquid/fluid moral lesson is very hard to grasp on, much like water, so the take away would be different for everyone and even for some people who have no experience with homosexuality even if they try to grasp on it, it will slip away, like water of your palm. A more solid/concrete moral lesson would be one that no matter the personal experience you have, you can still grasp a huge part of it if not all, much like you can hold the rock on your hand. So if you want to reach a wider audience you'll have to choose something concrete/solid as a moral lesson.

I feel like for a big portion of people that have been really emotionally invested with the show unless you give them something that they can easily understand and grasp on they're going to feel that by the end of the show all this passion and anticipation will burn out, so since that energy or part of it wasn't given back, we're going to see huge disappointments.

See the word i used above, PASSION. Passion is symbolized by the element of fire and the color red which we know by now is used to describe Oh-aew. Think of him as the fire in a candle and think of Teh as water. Fire is sure of it's self and it's the first to take action which we saw happen when Oh-aew didn't even flinch or had second thoughts when admitting his feeling to Teh. Water is insecure, it steps back and looks at the action it doesn't participate, therefore it's passive, we can see that with Teh, he really is just going with the flow, he is not taking initiatives, much like water it goes where the river takes it. You can see through out the show, for a huge part they are surrounded by the sea, by water. Not only that, but the beach is sort of their meeting spot, so you know when these two are together suddenly their emotions are hard to grasp on, they can't pin point how they're feeling and what to do, that's all water.

Why am i saying all these?! Well, we see now that Teh is going to get tested in the last two episodes since he is asked by the occurrences in his life to take action, to come forward from the background where he is just flowing with the world. Coming back now to what i mentioned above, where I said think of Oh-aew as the fire in a candle and think of Teh as water, what's going to happen, is imagine someone pouring water onto the candle, the fire it's going to burn out, disappear. Do not get it confused though, that doesn't mean Oh-aew's passion and fire in his heart for Teh will go away but rather means that the overbearing amount of water, of the sea, of the beach surrounding him it's simply going to drown that fire. So Teh's unsureness, confusion, denial, immaturity are going to in the end much like before leave no choice to Oh-aew but to disappear from his life. That is if they choose the route of a compromised moral lesson which would indicate to a fluid take away from the show, that will happen from a sad or even a open ended finale on the show.

And now you may ask then what's the point why even go through the trouble, why even build up the audiences expectations only to burn them out in the end?? Well, I though of that to myself as well, and surprisingly the answer is simple. Real life. That's the whole point of the show I believe, it's about the journey not the destination, it's about simply showing the world how the journey to maturity and to finding yourself can be different for different types of people, in this case the LGBTQ community. The purpose of the show it's to simply inform us about the struggle of those people, it's not for us to get mad over how unfair it was for Oh-aew, or how immature Teh is, it's about giving us a glimpse to a world otherwise unknown to us. That's the moral take away from the show i believe. I hope from the bottom of my heart we could at least get more from them on this show and while we still don't know what is going to happen the whole purpose of this long post was to really give hope and meaning to those that seem to get sad about the ending, please know that, that's life it has moments of passion it has moments of confusion but in the end it's up to the individual to decide her/his own path. +++DON'T GET SAD, IT'S STILL NOT THE END, I HOPE I'M WRONG, BUT IF IT HELPS THINK THAT THEY IN FACT ARE REALLY CLOSE AND THEIR JOURNEY IN REAL LIFE IS STILL CONTINUING AND IT'S BRIGHT FOR THEM!!!

Since everyone seems to be preparing tissues for next weeks episode, here's a positive thing i've found. WARNING…
Go to this link: https://youtu.be/rDV4JDFPVoc. Go to 7:55

In this interview they are asked about the neck kissing scene shown in the trailer which now from episode 4 teaser we know it's about to happen in next week's episode. It's about to get spicy, go the link i attached above to minute 7:55 see what they have to say and come back to tell me your thoughts.

side note: I don't know if the spicy part he was referring to was what has happened at the end of episode 3 or if there is more to come in episode 4, but the feeling it's ep.4 ( i hope at least..give us kiss on the lips).

When Aew said, "But I think you are jealous", he didn't only mean the bedroom sharing thing but also the invitation…
Agreed! The point i was trying to make is that unless he has some time with himself he can't tell what's what. However i can argue that he probably had fond feelings for Oh-aew from way back in the day when they were still young but the at that time there was really no focus on the existence of such feeling but rather ambitions and dreams as all young kids do. Now after the long period of them not talking or seeing each other he had time to realize what this friendship really did to him. Then after meeting him again, since his place in the university was pretty much set he could relax on that part of his life and that's when we see really him noticing his other type of feelings towards Oh-aew. But right as he started catching himself having all kinds of weird thoughts he was put on the spot to act on them. Then boom he exploded, he obviously really likes Oh-aew and he has strong and very demanding feelings towards him and that seriousness scares him but he needs his time.

You know what, I just realized this earlier and I am surprised why no one has mentioned this, I figured i should share this. In the confession scene where both of them are sitting in the hammock when Oh-aew decided to make a bold move and admit his feeling to Teh, we have never questioned how Teh felt about that. While he started to maybe suspect internally that he may have more than friends feelings for Oh-aew that doesn't mean that he knew how to act on them, he really didn't have much time to think about it, Oh-aew kind of put him on the spot. He
didn't go out of his way to confess to him yet, probably because he wasn't ready but due to his overwhelming emotions admitted to Oh-aew his thoughts. Later, the next day you see him going up and down the beach probably thinking more thoroughly his emotions and as to what to do but yet again was interapted by Oh-aew and again he din't have time to reflect. During that whole day with Oh-aew his attraction for him left him no choice but to just react to what was happening and to what his body was instinctively telling him. When you have only time to react and not to reflect there's a point in time when that just explodes on you and you have this moment of "wait a minute what is happening" that's what happened to Teh at the end of episode 3. He really just needs time more than anything to reflect by himself with himself, no Oh-aew, no Tarn. How can one possibly know what to do or how to react with everything going on, if he literally you guys had no quality time with himself. For all he knows he may not have serious feeling for Oh-aew, it may be just lust accompanied with the need to experience more physically which is something that goes hand in hand with his age. If fact him not actually going any further with Oh-aew shows respect for him since he doesn't want to use him for just the heat of the moment type of thing, and for that it is crucial to the storyline to step back and reflect. No matter what the family will think or the external world or how Tarn will react, the first step and the most crucial is to know how you feel and at least have some sort of certainty within yourself in order to move on to the next steps. More than anything i am expecting to see more of that on episode 4 since the poor guy literally i'll say it again didn't have time to think, everything else will fall into place ( for bad or for worse we'll see ) once he is sure within himself let's not worry yet about the external problems. As to what he will decide to do, i think it's pretty clear that at least the first half of episode 5 is going to be all about that. Remember me on this when I say, " the things are only to get worse for everyone around him if they keep in interfering with his reflection time. The more they ask of him to do and to react the more toxic he'll be to those around him regardless of the relationship". I think the brother will help but first he has to do a lot of questioning within himself.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK??

Title I Told Sunset about You Spoiler
For those who are unfamiliar, they already started at a show together prior to " I told sunset about you", in which indeed it was a sad ending since one them died (Teh). I get that most people ( including myself ) are getting sad vibes from the whole show indicating to a sad ending but if we put all emotions aside and use a little bit of common sense, here's some observations that i've made:
-1. The theory that someone will die. For this one as i stated above they already had this type of ending in their previous show called "My ambulance" in case you are interested, but I doubt that they will go through all the trouble of producing a second show just for them only to end it in the same way. This is the first reasoning, the second reasoning as to why i think non of them will die is because if someone dies there is no concrete moral lesson to the story. By ending someone's life (either one of them), the need to face your emotions, accept yourself and basically everything that the show is trying to portray morally just goes away as the other person passes. There is no character development. They only way for the show to make sense and to be coherent is if both of them live and are able to face their problems and see where they stand in the world. Death ironically is the easier choice, but living and going through your fears everyday, living with your problems, asking yourself for answers is the hard part but unfortunately the only way to grow as a person, to become a better version of yourself. So the death theory based on (my) common sense seems unnecessary and the easy way out, so to speak.

-2. The theory that Teh will choose to be straight in the end. Again, no moral lesson here, neither good for him, nor for Oh-aew or for us the audience. There is literally nothing to be learned by the show if the answer is " well all i got to do is just hide the gayness in me". I hope you get my point.

-3. The theory that Teh will come to terms with his emotions too late. For this one, okay i get why some people are saying that but that implies what?. If we really think about it that to an extend implies that he did accept his emotions for Oh-aew but now Oh-aew can't accept him because it took him a lot of time and now what he compromised and decided to be with Bas instead. Again, no concrete moral lesson from the show if the answer is "well when i was available you couldn't decide and i couldn't wait and even thought my heart is really with you, i will go and be with bas cause he available". So this one doesn't make sense to me either.

-4. The theory that Teh will give his position to Oh-aew. This is probably one the most popular theories in here and while it makes much more sense than the other ones i've read, that ending alone, i hate to say this again but no concrete moral lesson, it's like "i f**ed up, i am sorry, I can't be with you but since i feel bad heres i will give you my place so you can go and live your dream". My problem with this one is that while it does show how unconditional Teh's love for Oh-aew is, again i get this sort of i run from my emotions and from every responsibility type of attitude from Teh and there is really not much space for character development for Teh is that happens. Now i have shared my theory with this one and that is the only way for it to be a solid ending ( doesn't matter good or bad ) is if Teh does give Oh-aew his place but re-applies to the university for next year and then there is a possibilty of them meeting again (as friends or anything else). That's how it would make morally sense to me.

NOW FOR SOME SMALL OBSERVATIONS AS TO WHAT TO
EXPECT TO HAPPEN IN THE REMAINING 2 EPISODES.

-1. For sure expect some sort of denial from Teh, to what extend we will see.
-2. Expect for Tarn's involvement in Teh's and Oh-aew's relationship, lot's of arguing.
-3. Expect some sort of friction with the families, most likely Teh's.
-4.Expect to see Oh-aew being caught in the middle of Teh's denial, and expect him to be treated unfairly to some extend.
-5. Expect for things to get worse before the get better.
-6. The airplane ticket might have a significance, otherwise they wouldn't mention it or show it at all, nothing in this show is meaningless. As to what it may indicate we'll have to see.
-7. I think most of the moral lesson of the show is relying heavily on Teh's character development and while Oh-aew's character teaches us different lessons, its Teh's character development that will make or break the show.
-8. The title does have a significance. Something about the promise and the sunset and the exam results will take place, my first guess for this one it's going to be probably Oh-aew going there again when he gets the results and this time the sun is showing, he will be in luck, and he will talk to the sunset about Teh or something like that.
-9. A little possible hint for you for what i think might be the ending scene of episode 5, go here on mydramalist in the photos provided for the show, as of right now that I am writing this the first 2 pictures where they are at the beach again and they are both wearing light colored shirts that might be from the ending scene, not sure it might though. For more on this one, go on youtube in this link: https://youtu.be/hJeEOzEZstU , you can see more from that scene in the photos that might be indeed from the 5th episode.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW ALL YOUR THOUGHTS AND THEORIES!!!

Title I Told Sunset about You Spoiler
Watched the 3rd episode 2 to go. I went back to all the trailers and ost's and everything basically to figure out scenes that where not yet shown on the first three episodes therefore they are from the remaining two. There is this scene that Ten and Oh-aew are at the beach face to face saying to each other "so what's next about us". That takes place when the sun is still out, later in the trailer you see Teh with the exact same shirt that light blue shirt with the flowers going to Tarn's house asking her to say that she loves him that it clearly from the same day but later during the night, so everything that was said (or happened ) between Teh and Oh-aew was earlier during that day. My guess is either things went south with them at the beach that day or things actually went good and things became more clear in his head and the scene where he is at Tarn's house asking her to say these things is basically him checking himself to see if he actually feels anything about her when she says i love you, which from his expression can't say he is thrilled. Also, there's a scene in the trailer that clearly( i think at least) Tarn is on to him and Oh-aew and she goes to his home to confront him. I can say with certainty that he is going to have trouble making this side of him public and also i see him having trouble with the family, maybe not sure, definitely some friction though.

Lastly, i don't think someone is going to die unlikely i would say. Now wether Teh will give his place for oh-aew or something like that i don't know, they've made sure not to spoil anything from the last episode, that's what i think. If that's the case Teh can wait a year to apply for next year and maybe they'll meet again then at the university and that would be the actual closing scene them seeing each other after one year at the university. The reason why this ending can be interpreted as sad or even open ended is because they won't actually show us them being openly is a relationship when the meet again in the university but rather imply things more than anything else.

p.s The title, I told sunset about you, may very well be referring to Oh-aew going where they went today at episode 3 after he enters the university but this time he is in luck because the clouds are not hiding the sun but this time the sunset is showing the oh-aew is talking to the sunset about Teh as a last goodbye before he goes not knowing what future holds for them or if they will see each other again. Don't know, nobody does, i am telling you the are keeping the scenes from the last episode hidden on purpose cause then we would be able to figure it out.

ALSO!! Let's bet that they won't actually ever kiss on the lips not even a peck. I am willing to bet on this, lol. The show is clearly going for an alternative expression of affection and no cliches so don't be surprised if they never kiss cause it's more than that.
