Idk for other dramas yet but FOF was meant to be a sad ending drama so it just aired when other dramas had sad…
It makes perfect sense if you think about it for the ending to be sad. The theme of all the plot through the **entire series** was nothing but sad endings. Honestly, if you couldn't see the sad ending coming from the beginning, you weren't paying attention.
I acknowledge the age gap and I really didn't appreciate it but it's just a drama so who cares.
The first six episodes were incredible. I was really enjoying it. And then they just started throwing The same tired jealousy tropes that you see in any other drama you've ever seen in your entire life...
Really really really ruined a good thing very quickly.
I have mixed feelings about the last 10 eps. It's definitely nice seeing them together and getting on with their…
I didn't mind the slice of life I just felt like it took a detour to Chinese national pride day. As an non-Chinese person, It was just really awkward to see.
The first 15 or so episodes were actually pretty good. The entire rest of the show was agonizing to watch... So many standard pitfalls and romantic tropes they have been done a billion times before. general lack of communication between the FL and ML caused the relationship to blow up. And they got back together seemingly just because It's expected for a happy ending.
I will literally watch anything with IU in it. Doesn't matter what it is.
The movie overall was pretty good. But some of the subplots involving the players were downright confusing. One of the players is looking for his Korean friend (girlfriend?) who went missing but somehow turns out to be Japanese and I guess instead of going missing just moved away without saying anything? I mean, it's not explained at all and it was very frustrating being invested in that subplot and it just not being explained at all.
Drinking culture is not some small subset of Korean culture. It's incredibly prominent within Korean culture... It's like saying you like Korean culture but you hate the patriarchy. Korean culture is an extreme patriarchy... You cannot have one without the other.
So trying to pretend that drinking culture is the equivalent to a personal choice like it is in the West is a misnomer of Herculean and proportions.
You missed nothing. The series continued to get worse and worse. The ending is quite literally one of the worst I've ever seen and is a direct result of poor writing.
It's omnipresent in kdrama because drinking culture is literally over a thousand years old in Korea... If you don't like drinking culture then you don't like Korean culture so you should stop watching shows which take place in Korea and glorify their own culture....
The ML is so incredibly toxic it's ridiculous. He's an absolute manchild and his inability to process any complex emotion completely ruins the entire ambiance of the show... Additionally, the FL wanton disregard for other people is a serious turn off. She's basically the sole reason for the misunderstandings between all of the characters and the two leads and she takes zero responsibility for it whatsoever.
I truly cannot believe that this show is so highly recommended.
I cannot for the life of me understand why everyone seems to love this show so much. It's so hard to get through. I've managed to make it to Episode 5 and I'm at the part where the "kidnapper" attacks Bong Soon's friend and she kicks the guy. They wake up in the hospital later and what? She literally let the guy walk away?
It's the most lazy writing I've ever seen. The guy is a murderer and kidnaps a few other women and the FL comes across the guy and kicks him, then lets him run away?
Just hit episode 20 after thinking this was a single season show. It's starting to really drag on and I was excited for a nice ending... Then I realized this show is 52 episodes and I've pretty much dropped it. πππ
Im Hwi's character is very interesting for me. She is the main reason for me to get through this slow paced drama.…
I couldn't agree more. I feel like she was more of a plot device than anything but I'm strangely okay with that. her personality was so bubbly and likable. she was easily one of the best parts of this series.

Overall, not a very good show.
