The ending was soooooooo beautiful and cathartic. I'll be carrying that scene with me for years to come. A calm and emotional drama about the human experience-- identity, family, and grief-- that felt like a warm hug on a chilly drizzly afternoon. Absolutely recommend. .
maybe because i watched it raw but the last 30 minutes were soooo confusing like wth happened? why did some scenes…
It was all part of the dude's plan- that the MC would come kill him which the MC also knew, and also I guess the guy knew the MC liked him as well so he made them a film moment as part of their last movie? ^^; He said he wanted to decide how he died, and earlier in the movie said something about how not knowing when you'd die was the worst part of life or something, and I guess the explosion wasn't dramatic enough for his end. For the slow start, the end was definitely kind of rushed I'm still wrapping my head around it and I'm not sure it's just because they really blew it all up LOL.
I wonder the same, I guess you're referring to that creepy naked scene from the trailer... :/
Thank you for sharing your story. You are very courageous. I am very glad that you skipped it and hope that those watching are at least aware of what they are getting into. This show is not entertainment and makes light of subjects that are very traumatic.
The website calls it a "psycho love comedy." The Japanese twitter response was overwhelmingly that viewers were excited to see Yamada Yuki act as a pervert/hentai and that he was excited to play one. I know that shojo manga tends to romanticize nonconsensual situations, but this seems to cross into deranged. Am I missing something? I don't think I even want to know!
I think it is based off of a web comic -- perhaps it just reminds us that the internet is a scary place, haha. As you said, Yamada Yuki must be desperate to break out of supporting lead syndrome... Don't know that I can consider myself a fan.

This drama needs like 20 different trigger warnings. Please give me some of that brain bleach now-- I watched the first episode without watching the trailer and am thoroughly disturbed.. Not putting this behind a spoiler tag because it's EP1 people shouldn't have to watch this without knowing that it's super messed up. It doesn't stop at traditional stalking behavior, he gives her sleeping pills, sneaks into her bed without clothes on, and plays with her hair/skin at night because he knows she lives alone. How did this get a green light to air?
