I've made it to the 6th episode so far and I have to say, the Ding Ding character is just so irritating! Will make liberal use off FF button on her scenes
I have seen the KN, CN and Thai adaptations (though wasn’t able to watch the original TW) and I have to say that this version is MY favorite of all the versions. Let’s respect that we have our own preference thus other viewers may or may not feel the same.
It has a mediocre and cliched storyline that any avid drama watcher would have seen multiple times but the high calibre acting by Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra really delivered the story. Having seen multiple versions, I still feel that the leads and even the support roles (2ML, FL’s mom, grandma, secretary/assistant) in this version portrayed them best.
I loved Reply 1988 and have started watching Reply 1997 because of that. I had high expectations noting the high MDL ratings. Unfortunately, this was not an enjoyable watch for me. I found the FL irritating. I find her loud and rude behavior (esp her disrespectful attitude towards her father) very off-putting. As the main character is not endearing (for me!), it was a struggle for me to complete this show.

Agree with you. I usually binge watch but I am struggling to push on with the show as I find the FL really annoying. Staying on only because JCW is adorable.
