To add on, the chairman asked a million dollar question as well, why would the all-so-mighty-god-of-forethought, Pyo jae hyun, have an assasin as a wife. When we saw that when one of Mr. Jo' men held a knife to his neck, he was all bark and no bite. Literally, man sat in the chair helpless.

We are about to be 14 episodes in and I have lots of unanswered questions:
Who the hell is Sungchan? Missing a chunk of his origin/background story. How did he position himself to get close to Kyojin and Dojin? Why is he hell bent on being the CEO of Hatch? What events led him to been "friends" with Jae hyun?
In the words of Haesoo, who the hell are you, Pyo Jae hyun. Who is Pyo Jaehyun's father? How did his physician mom eventually start working for Gumjo? How did Pyo Jae hun amass his wealth (most patent research physicians do not make a lot)? How did he get close to tutoring the president's daughter who is into journalism when he is science based? Why does he desperately want Hatch and Gumjo? Basically, a chunk of his origin/motive is missing.
Also, there is a special relationship between Kyojin, Taera, and Jae hyun? We now know that Kyojin is madly in love with Taera. How did that come to be? Why is Jae hyun literally psychotic when Kyojin contacts or talks to Taera and vice versa. My guy was literally losing his mind stopping on the phone when he called. I think Jae hyun "loves/obsessed" with Taera based on a) Him literally crying and shouting her name when she left him and told him that it is over. Man replied with you will forever be my wife b) He had the opportunity to kill her when she confessed, but instead chose to take out his "trusted accomplice" c) Him been appalled and crying when she was shot right infront of him. Why is that? Please let us not say bc both of their parents were killed in an accident. I feel like there is more to that.
Lastly, the oh so special relationship between Kyojin and Jae hyun? Why is Kyojin the only person that can "see through Jae hyun"? What is the competition between the two? Why does Jae hyun respect/acts crazy when Kyojin is involved? Are they blood related?

2 episodes left and there are literally ocean deep holes in the plot/writing.

I am confused as well. Still trying to wrap my head around Jae hyun obessesion with Taera. It does not make sense to me. Even Taera asked the same question and it was not answered properly. Question is, what is the relationship between Kyojin, Taera and Jae hyun?
