Plot according to me is more meaningful if they put lesser emphasis on romance and more on the overall narrative which does exist in almost every censored adaptation coz they have to be creative in overcoming the censors and can't put fillers by some silly romantic dialogue or scenes.....what you are referring to as plot is not what I meant!

If you meant to ask abt the series....the first 2 eps give a lot of subtle hints of the depth of relationship btw YSH and CSK....he seems to observe him alot .... can't tell if he actually cares for him or he's scared of him coz of some of his past secrets.....till now it seems like he is very much affected by him ...he doesn't like when YSH was talking with the girls...he tried his best to expose him so as the girls stop hanging out with him.....CSK is quite possesive of YSH but not clear as in whatway......
Okay now back to that rapist thing, I told you I would skip his scenes as I too have a conscience....but my rational approach is different from yours.....I can't boycott the entire show for one actor.....
To me plot matters a lot.....see I am not homophobic but this one has a great plot in comparison to those direct bls like semantic error etc...I don't like shows that have romance in it whether it is BL or BG....coz for me romance ruins the logic in plot ...when romance is directly focused there are lot fillers and plot holes....ofc this is my opinion...you can politely disagree.....anyways neither I am homophobic nor heterophobic..I can watch both BL or BG occasionally but I never rate them coz they are not to my liking or something that can inspire me in any sort of way.....here in this drama there is lot of depth attached to plot rather than gay relationship.....but there is obvious tension between them and i won't deny that!!!
