Same here, I also like the novel's ending more than the drama's because atleast in the extra chapters RNZ became a human but in the drama they really showed him having a non human existence which is so heartbreaking.....For sad things, they indeed stayed true to the novel like showing all those deaths including death of one of the twins i.e,. CQL while for happy things, they didn't stay true to the novel's ending and made our couple soo damn illusionary.....😭

I had already finished watching it 2 days ago but I didn't upload any spoilers as I thought it might shatter 💔 some viewers 's heart and as my heart too was in nano fragments after watching the 68th ep even though this is not the ending but this is the episode with peak bromance & angst....and you will really feel it in your bones .....I indeed got goosebumps watching this ep upon unraveling the amount of desperation LQS holds in his heart for RNZ ...Here you will get to see him vent his pain out (as he experiences a sort of thanatophobia for RNZ ) when he realises that he will lose RNZ ....I'd never seen him so desperate before like seriously dude is on 🔥 in this ep.....

Guys if you are skimming through the episodes to watch more & more bromance between the two leads then I would like remind you to not skip any scene from ep 62 onwards as from here LQS's EQ becomes a little higher😜...In previous eps they are lot moments that 💯 imply how RNZ feels for LQS but we never get to see any direct reciprocation from LQS 's side until ep 62...Ep 62 onwards ML-ML bond becomes intense and unlike RNZ always rescuing LQS , from this ep you will get to see a lot of moments where LQS is risking his life to save RNZ .....By ep 62, I guess he has realised RNZ feelings for him and he also starts reciprocating on the same level... So don't miss any detail from this ep onwards.... And also the door that begins from 62 doesn't have any unwanted female character between the two leads as in this door case solving is done by RNZ , LQS & CYX-CQL twins ...... In comparison to previous eps ....ep 62 is the landmark with the onset of more bromance -oriented plot....😍
This is not a flop first of all ...Secondly it was taken down due to China's strict censorship against bl adaptations.... Thirdly this drama was shot in the bl ban era...they wouldn't have passed censorship to film some of the other details showing depth of ML-ML bond..... We were only talking in reference to Chinese dangai ...and in Chinese dangai there is no such forced kiss, cringy & clingy moments like the ones you have seen in Thai bl.....Bl genre doesn't depict the Queer community in real life ..it's just a fiction and we love seeing Chinese dangai & platonic bromance in comparison to Chinese hetero shows ....Can you compare the level of Chinese hetero with dangai adaptations???....this one is more interesting than the 19th floor...no offence to other dramas but even if I didn't like 19th floor that much I will definitely not pour scorn on it like you did here ..... Watched ep 17 & 18,.... Have to say CQL and LQS are such comedic duo together + both of them are such scaredy cats😭 their chemistry is also insane In ep 17, even CQL came to join LQS, RNZ and UFC in their room because he was hella scared sleeping alone...and insisted on sleeping with LQS in the same bed...

Humor also in this drama is on another level...there is one grey haired guy character who seem to have mistook RNZ 's girl disguise.....Probably RNZ disguised himself as a girl at some point of time in the past ...and that grey haired guy seemed to have admired him for a long time considering him as a girl but he doesn't know that the RNZ in front of him is only that girl and he thinks that RNZ is acquainted with that girl so he requested RNZ in ep 17 to introduce him to that girl showing them(LQS,RNZ & CQL) the picture of RNZ 's female disguised form. Ofcourse, LQS & CQL could tell at the first glance that it is none other than their Zhu ge so they both started giggling silently on seeing the pic...while RNZ struggling to refuse him saying "You are not her type" but that grey guy is so damn hellbent on meeting her(girly RNZ)😂 that he insisted that "You cannot decide for her" . With end of this conversation later in the ep, CQL kept teasing RNZ about that matter and when they were discussing about the old-sister, & young-sister case then CQL again started testing RNZ 's patience 😆 CQL: I don't envy my sister and brother in law RNZ: Where did your brother in law came from? In mine ,the. English subtitles showed only upto ep 2 after that it didn't....Are you perhaps talking about Chinese subs??
Have to say CQL and LQS are such comedic duo together + both of them are such scaredy cats😭 their chemistry is also insane
In ep 17, even CQL came to join LQS, RNZ and UFC in their room because he was hella scared sleeping alone...and insisted on sleeping with LQS in the same bed...
UFC( objected): .. Aren't you afraid you are being fat to share bed with Bro LinLin
CQL: I am not that fat.
LQS(agreeing with CQL): Yes , he is not that fat.
UFC being jealous and upset at the same time because that was the excuse that LQS used to refuse her sleeping with him in the same bed in the previous ep.
Humor also in this drama is on another level...there is one grey haired guy character who seem to have mistook RNZ 's girl disguise.....Probably RNZ disguised himself as a girl at some point of time in the past ...and that grey haired guy seemed to have admired him for a long time considering him as a girl but he doesn't know that the RNZ in front of him is only that girl and he thinks that RNZ is acquainted with that girl so he requested RNZ in ep 17 to introduce him to that girl showing them(LQS,RNZ & CQL) the picture of RNZ 's female disguised form.
Ofcourse, LQS & CQL could tell at the first glance that it is none other than their Zhu ge so they both started giggling silently on seeing the pic...while RNZ struggling to refuse him saying "You are not her type" but that grey guy is so damn hellbent on meeting her(girly RNZ)😂 that he insisted that "You cannot decide for her" .
With end of this conversation later in the ep, CQL kept teasing RNZ about that matter and when they were discussing about the old-sister, & young-sister case then CQL again started testing RNZ 's patience 😆
CQL: I don't envy my sister and brother in law
RNZ: Where did your brother in law came from?
CQL (teasing RNZ with that grey haired guy's name): Dong yuannn😜
RNZ(pointing at the wall infront of them embedded with bones & skeletons): Believe it or not , I will build this wall for you.
