Easy Binge & Surprisingly Good — Don’t Compare It to The Blood of Youth ?
This is an easy binge-watch—I really enjoyed it.
If you’re planning to watch this, treat it as a stand-alone. It’s honestly not fair to compare a short drama like this to The Blood of Youth when there are only so many episodes to tell the story.
For a short series, I think they wrapped it up pretty well. If you’re worried it’ll just feel like another The Blood of Youth, don’t be. The first few episodes might seem similar, but it quickly finds its own rhythm, and I actually liked how it developed from there.
I especially preferred Li Hanyi’s romance in this version—it felt more satisfying to me.
The cast was great too. I really liked this version of Qian Luo, and the sisterhood here was such a nice touch. Also- the Lei Wu Jie here is sooo cute!!! ( so is Xiao She)
Overall, a solid and enjoyable short drama 👍
