On Everybody Stand By Season 2 Nov 22, 2020
Moonlight was so good! I loved the story of an older Mulan who has been on the battlefield for over a decade. Ni Hongjie was perfect for the role and this was definitely Maggie Huang’s best performance!

No problem! You should definitely check out the show! There’s been quite a few good performances in recent episodes

This is an acting competition, basically a survival show where actors and actresses compete to be “the best actor” with the guidance of 4 directors. The clip you saw was probably one of the many performances from the show

What happened with pakho? and why are his scenes deleted?
Yes, same with Ali Lee. I hope she will be cast in more dramas soon. She’s a very good actress. I would love to see her in Line Walker 4!

Title Line Walker: Bull Fight Spoiler
Is Ah Deng really dead? What happened to her? Also, bao seed still is an undercover?
She supposedly went missing while she was a investigating the international crime organization called Eternity. Ngai Tak Lai (Kenneth) said he was the only one who knew where ah Ding was, but would only tell Bao Seed if he let him go. Bao Seed refused and tried to stop him from escaping, but a sniper hiding outside killed Ngai Tak Lai on the spot. So we will have to wait until Line Walker 4 to see what happened to ah Ding :(

No she’s still missing. Bao seed is an undercover/handler for most of the drama. He returns to CIB at the end. But he is still looking for Ah Ding

guo guan was really good too... it's obv chen you wei met the right director... his acting improved a whole lot!!…
Chen Youwei was perfect for this role! I’m glad he finally got some positive feedback. He’s not the best actor and I didn’t care for him before, but I feel bad after seeing him being criticized after every performance. He seems humble and hardworking. I hope he continues to improve with the help of Chen Kaige!

I loved it too! It’s definitely my favorite out of the 4 short films. I think Guo Jing really gives it his all for this show. I’m so glad they ranked well this time!

Why is Never not included in this season? At least a guest role. Last part of the season 1 shows she is alive.…
Ali Li was cut from this season and frozen by TVB because of an instagram post she made in August of 2019. They felt she was supporting the Hong Kong protests and that didn’t go well with mainland netizens. So, she was dropped from Legal Mavericks 2, Who Wants a Baby 2, and Big White Duel 2. All in which she had important roles in. It’s so unfair. She’s my favorite TVB actress and I loved her character Never!

It’s a pity he didn’t pick Derek Yee’s team
Yes, that’s why I wished Wang Qiang would’ve picked Derek Yee, especially when he said he already had a role in mind for him. It’s too bad he took the safe route and stayed with Chen Kaige, who is a good director, but wouldn’t be as beneficial to him imo

Ending seems open ended. Is there going to be another sequel?
Probably. TVB doesn’t want this series to end. I think they’ll try to get Charmaine back to film LW4, which would make LW3 feel even more like an unnecessary filler
On Line Walker: Bull Fight Nov 3, 2020
Just finished the drama and all I can say it was a big let down. I’m not a fan of Raymond Lam, but I still think this was a waste of his time. The most interesting scene happened at the beginning of the show, but nothing came of it and in the end, they used that same scene to close the story. I liked LW1 and loved LW2, but couldn’t be more disappointed with LW3

I really enjoyed the reenactment of ‘Bad Genius’ in episode 5, and I think much of that is thanks to Guo Jingming’s directing. Like Li Chengru said, this should be the standard level of quality for all performances on the show. I loved how I felt like I was actually watching a movie rather than a stage play. Ren Min, Ding Chengxin, and Meng Ziyi did an amazing job jumping around from scene to scene!

I agree it’s unfair. The grading at the beginning of the show from the industry professionals/producers were…
I guess I wasn’t impressed because I’ve seen her do similar emotional scenes when she was at TVB. Like how the directors weren’t satisfied with Yang Zhi Gang’s acting. They said he was repeating the same thing in every drama. I feel the same way about Myolie Wu. I hope Chen Kaige will be able to guide her to show us something different

I’m only up to episode 24 but omg my heart aches for Si Feng (Cheng Yi is such a good actor with expressive eyes)! I think this is the first time I’ve seen a male lead suffer for so many episodes! In most dramas it’s the heroine who is put through the wringer. So this is definitely refreshing. I initially started this drama to have some background noise while I do other things, but I am finding it difficult to do anything else now lol
