Actually, I thought FL is too childish (well she is) but after rewatching for how many times (lost count) I started to understand her. Same goes with ML. I thought he's a cold guy but if you rewatch every episodes you'll notice how hemake effort to FL. Jiang Chen's love language is not the same with Wu Bo song. He cannot express yet he knows his feelings.
Same with Wu Bo Song, Xioaxi likes to express her love through act of service and with that, I understood why she didn't chose the SML. For her, it's normal. She's always doing it and doesn't need that kind of love, so she looks for someone who can receive that kind of love. And Jiang Chen who always acts and show his love behind the curtains, made her fell in love.
I wish I could point out all those small actions yet very moving scene of Jiang Chen caring for Xiaoxi but that would spoil the scene. I hope this helps!
