What it did to my heart:
😍I love all the "LQ" scenes, the best I love u is said during the fight eyy..eyy

😍I can't erase the episodes 2_ n 3_...eyyy don't take a shortcut,all the episodes are worth it if u watch it from down to the top

😔The painful part for me was when one of the Wei brothers died. One of my entertainers,the most bubbly one.

😆The scenes of Wei Shao together with adviser Gongsun and the Wei brothers made me laugh and giggle during 2:a.m at night. Just their expressions,u will laugh hard

😆A very funny scene when they fished out the lantern boats to see Manman's wish,and the cold husband was not on the list.

💪The most powerful scene is when Wei Shao burns Manman's portrait painted by another man. His emotion there,the anger was in place,the jealousy was perfectly expressed and the rage was very strong.

😇Precious scene to me: When Wei Shao suppressed his temptation instead of following his desire. The struggle there to control his lust made me struggle too. Sorry I take it personal. A man of wholesomeness,respect to his wife won over his indecent desire.

"the world is vast but they have no place to live"

Sorry I didn't end it,I cannot 😭.C-drama is a poison that I keep on drinking. In c-drama love is just an appetizer but not the main dish.
But the unique and fast pacing of this story still amazed me,from episode one just wow until I reached episode twenty but I have a bad feeling of the ending and I couldn't bare seeing Master Pei hurting and dying so I stopped there.

The story it's hard to explain my feelings about it,this kind of drama is something that I really want and love it is rare to find a story that feeds your fantasy,it's very interesting and unique,it touched some subject that never touched by a C-drama before(as far as I know), it highlighted the women empowerment I really love it.

The male lead is a green flag,I mean he is not a complicated man,I am not surprised if why she easily fell for him.Their romance,episode 16 is the key,but watching all the prior episodes first made episode 16 a beautiful moment .

The characters they are perfectly fit,they owned it.The leading man from his appearance down to his cool demeanor u would surely think that this kind of platform is his cup of tea, I love the female lead,Chinese female lead with big eyes is my weakness,and her portrayal, don't ask me,the eyes that shed tears like an invitation for me to weep too,and the male lead could give real tears too,it flow naturally.
Dominion and Devotion,dominated my heart and I devoted my time for it. All the male lead characters scenes eyyy,eyyy I can watch and rewatch them for eternity.

I was expecting a female general who never lost sight of her goal,but despite being dressed in warrior clothes she was still a woman who craved protection and love. She lived like a man to the extent that she forgot to become a woman. There was a heavy feeling on this part,it seemed she adapted and lived to her fake identity,however because of her past partner and current du duu,she was able to find her true identity again. She may be a general but still a female in the eyes of the man she loves. In a world of drama where I almost saw some strong women forget their romantic love for their ultimate goal,it was refreshing to see a female general who not just focused on her dream but also on her heart.


Perfect romance,perfect love story. A perfect portrayal of ML as a cold and warm general.The one who was always holding back. The man who both wanted and not wanted to be touched. The general of the legendary female general.Amazing portrayal of the FL as both Mrs.Xiao and General Xiao. The male lead is the master of expression. He conveyed many meanings by just his eyes,by just his lips and by just his face. His strong facade but soft interior was perfectly blended. Love the chemistry,the story and yes the perfectly brewed romance,best couple,best green flag. Just like the female general,I love the moon too🤣😍♥️

"Double heart heart to the handsome Duke"

My greatest escape after I watched the goodbye my princess. This is not just a drama to me..The purpose was to watch it in order to forget,but as the drama progressed I couldn't stop.But don't forget to carry ur brain cells with you,the two main characters loved to investigate like Sherlock. Sometimes,I got left behind,maybe I have low brain power or I was just enticed and focused on the handsome investigator (Duke Su) and not on the investigation.

Duke Su nailed my heart, I mean nailed his character.Love the nonchalant emotions..the matured love. The both the same level of quirkyness and affection.The mutual understanding of their feelings to each other hayst..love love

The romantic scenes were common,but I don't know how the two main characters made the ordinary scenes an extraordinary one..It was heart melting. The charisma of the Duke,the angst ,the sharp gaze,the calm face,okay the everything. It is hard to look away when the handsome duke is on the scene,but if you look at him for too long you would get drowned.Jiang Li's pain ughh,only a heartless human couldn't feel it. I was devastated watching her painful scene.

But the other irrelevant characters had more screen time than Duke Su. I mean hellow he is the male lead,but as I calculated it, during the 20 early episodes I only saw him,either, in the last part or first part,and then pshaw!! The psycho Wanning again. Or I am just obsessed with him that's why I feel like he had few scenes. But truth to be told,due to some irrelevant scenes of minor characters,some big moments of the two main characters were not being emphasized.

Duke Su's clothing,I honestly don't know if the costumes are all beautiful,or he was just good on wearing it,I mean he is dashingly handsome,whatever colors and styles he wore there,be it violet,red,black,and when he wore the warrior clothes,nahh kill me,he is one of the most beautiful soldiers I have ever seen in historical Chinese drama. One thing I noticed again,observed the way he walked,he wore the traditional Chinese shoes like loafers. He is damn cool...

Would I rewatch it again? absolutely there is no doubt,even during the time I was watching it I still kept replaying Duke Su's scene. I love all his sarcastic and poetic dialogue.

In C-drama revenge is everything. There were tragic endings on some valuable characters,and the ending, of Duke Su and Li, I was expecting a hug, but only a horse running,but as long as the Duke is alive,I will let myself be satisfied with the ending. I know he is alive,he was the one who was riding the horse,wearing his favorite red attire...

Lessons:
A sad fact, when the powerful one targets you the only way to escape is to challenge death and if u r not brave enough you will become their toys but like the message of the Female mc,she talked about heaven,that somehow there is a Big one up there who can manage the injustice and all our affairs.

Revenge is just unending battle for the restless soul. It is an expensive word that you need to pay, along the way while seeking it you will lose something or someone or worst you will lose urself.

Power is unending rat race...speaking of rat ..the most iconic funny scene of the two lead characters was the rat scene.

The thought that the world turned against you,but as the mc sooth revenge she found out,that she didn't lost her world,she just lost the wrong man.

Bring back my sanity Xiao2x couple ??

I fell in love with the two main characters ,I can't move on.their great portrayals put me on edge. The acting is superb,the beautiful scenery and the crazy story put in awe.
But the ending broke me.I was broken.I lost my mind,I lost my appetite,I had gone insane,I don't know what to do with my life anymore....

This drama affected me so much...I incurred real pain. A self-inflicted suffering in myself.

I pinched my heart with every painful scene and my heart jumped with excitement and laughter when the two leads were happy.Their happy voices echoed in my mind,I told you they robbed my sanity.

I am someone who doesn't get easily attached but this, I invested my time, my tears and enjoyed every "beautiful scene" and most of all the lessons that I got for every character are something that I burried deep inside my heart. To say it is best is not enough. The change of the characters of Xiao Wu and Xiao Feng, how their facial expressions changed from happy to gloomy, how their voices changed from funny to serious. woahhh I love them. They are more than best, the way they carry their characters not to mention their incredible dashing faces.
The drama:
depicted the reality, a messy decision making, a hunger for power, a weakness of the heart. You could see in this drama, that women are tools of men, the young ones are the tools of the old ones and the old ones are the slave of revenge. Though the ending is sad, it should be the ending though I want Xiao Feng to see happy with the man she loved,but it didn't happen but then again the ending should be like this. I remember the episode where Xiao Wu joined his army and killed Xiao Feng's grandfather matched with the episode when Xiao Feng sacrificed herself.The weight of their pain could only be balanced by the last episode. The loss of life of Xiao Feng killed Xiao Wu..There are two things that died on the last episode.Xiao Feng's sufferings and Xiao Wu's heart. Xiao Wu killed Xiao Feng roots, her family and expected Xiao Feng to continue her life without her roots, it is obvious it is hard to lead your life without roots especially when the one who cut it is the man you loved. But I hate the scene when the female lead character killed herself,I mean why? Why author? Why?😤
lessons:
I have already written long enough I am afraid I can't stop...hehe.. So much in my mind but I only give two.Not all cultures can be preserved especially when it is toxic and detrimental.LOVE is powerful if you use it as a weapon instead of seeing it as a weakness.

When I love a drama,I watch it many times,but this drama I couldn't dare to watch it again. But the irony of it,despite the fact that I watched it once,it pained me to say that all the remarkable scenes still engraved in my memory. Yes,it feels like I had watched it many times.
Would I recommend this? Nah,it depends on how strong your heart is. It is poison,but it was something that I didn't regret on drinking and until now I couldn't find the antidote...🤦

It was a story of the three men who fell so hard but for painful reasons they couldn't be together with the women they loved. The first supporting ML fell in love with the woman,who forcefully owned by the emperor and the second supporting ML fell in love with the woman whose heart belonged to the wolf lord.

Yes the wolf lord,the male lead who fell in love with the noble merchant. Nay this was not your typical arranged marriage,this was a hard fight,this was you and me against all odds. She couldn't marry him,she was neither a female general nor a princess.

Did I shed some tears? I did.The most painful scenes were all the wedding scenes. The wolf lord was arranged to the princess,and the noble merchant was arranged to the knight of the king. Two different clans that forbidden to cross paths but still found each other because of fate. I was always on edge,always shouting don't marry him/her!! Suspense but sometimes funny. Calm but most of the time storm.

The physical features? Man! the first time I saw them I fell in love. I love the cute expression,the in love expression and the fierce expression.

The acting skills were awesome,they naturally executed it,but the writer was clever,it was beautifully written. This drama opened another world for me,another perspectives,sometimes I felt I was there together with the
characters.

This is a romantic story that will make your heart flinch but indeed they would still give you a satisfying ending.

My regret? Am I too late to discover this precious hidden gem?
